    Dual MagSafe phone charging

I did the same thing - put some silicon feet on the underside to stop it from sliding, as it would slide back and forth just by accelerating and braking. The feet solved the issue. Surprised that hasn’t been added to the design by now.

    Bi directional power to home

My issue with the V2H is the fact when I shopped around for a Charger, what sold me on going with the Lucid charger was strictly their V2H "Roadmap". As has been said here already, it's more than disappointing that over a year later there is virtually no additional information about this from...

Lucid Charger (failures and design oddities)

Just wanted to comment my experiences on this thread. First, I also use Ubiquity and have a relatively extensive home network setup including 3 access points with one being in the garage as well as 10GbE running between my 2 media closets and my home office. The Garage Access Point is mounted in...

Glass Canopy: To Tint or Not to Tint

I have 25% on the side windows and 35% on the rear and windshield/canopy. Absolutely love it on the glass canopy, makes all the difference. 90+ degree humid day in FL with sim overhead and interior stays nice and cool, don’t feel the heat of the suns rays. I originally had the lightest film...

    Lucid Home Charger vs ChargePoint

Good questions - I can't tell how many amps it's pulling (it's currently plugged in). The Lucid web app is useless. The Hyundai app says "Vehicle is plugged in to a Level 2 charger and 1 hour 35 minutes left to reach 80% charge"

    Lucid Home Charger vs ChargePoint

Just want to mention we have an Ionic 6 and the Lucid Home Connected Charger charges it just fine. We have it providing 80A.

    Service Calls to 'Remote' Areas

Hi Everyone, Driving home this evening, about 75 mi from home, got the low coolant message on the screen. Had about 30% battery at the time also. Continued driving home, and as I was getting off my exit, regen did not work at all and the brakes barely were able to stop the car. To top it off...

    Dual MagSafe phone charging

Hi - Just received my Dual MagSafe Phone Charger. Absolutely love it. I haven't read through all the previous posts, but I know from reading some of them there are various charging issues. Not sure what the consensus is on what works and what doesn't, but here is how it is working in my Touring...

    Charger installed, flashes orange

You may need a VIN # to activate and use the Lucid Cloud, I can't quite remember. I think I had my VIN # and was able to have it do a SW update w/o actually having the car. The entire process of configuring the HCS is horrible. I cannot believe they actually released something that works the...

    Charger installed, flashes orange

Hi, I initially had the Home Connected Charger installed in December ahead of my car delivery. Lucid ended up having to ship 4 chargers in total. The first 3 glowed Orange after booting up. From my understanding it's a bad board and the only fix is to get a new unit that doesn't have the bad...

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

I don’t have Netflix but the Netflix app is loaded on a Carlinkit upon initial boot up, so should work just fine. I have installed a Hulu, Disney+, ESPN+, BBC iPlayer, Plex, HBO+, Prime Video - all working just fine. BBC works via ExpressVPN which I also have installed. Simone of these apps were...

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

The Carlinkit simply plugs into either one of the USB connections. Once it boots, the Lucid thinks it’s communicating to a direct wired iPhone. Attaching some additional photos of it running. There’s an Android app that will connect to your iPhone and allow you to run actual CarPlay through this...

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

Hi Everyone, For those interested, I made a comment earlier in the thread on using an Android App called JBV1 with my Valentine One Gen 2 Radar Detector, using the CarlinKit device, for which I received a firmware update last Friday giving it the ability to reconfigure itself to the CarPlay...

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

It’s not just about watching video. Both CarPlay and Android Auto work with a very limited number of apps. Using a Carlinkit, virtually any app available in the Android ecosystem can be used. In my case, I want to use the JBV1 app for my Valentine One Gen2. JBV1 is not available for Apple, and...
