Tech visited our house and of course everything worked perfectly for him. Our mistake was pulling the belt out too far before fastening. If you hear it begin to ratchet, release it and do it again. The trick is to pull it close across your body and fasten it. Don’t pull it out in front of you.

Same here, but we have a long trip coming up and will have someone in back. Hoping to have it resolved before then. I’ll follow up after our service.

My rear seat belt tensioners ratchet tight as soon as someone fastens them. I would expect them to cinch in a quick movement, but these will not allow the occupant to lean forward. You can’t even reach out to close the door. I have a service call in for this issue. Anyone else have this experience?
