    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

Hi @Bobc34, sorry for the delay - I just remembered that I saw an email notification on this thread... As far as your questions: Yes, I have a '22 AGT, and no issues with the windshield. I also have the 360 Maxcam, and it works great! For the tap - yes, I did the mirror tap. The toughest part...

    Interesting take on Lucid stock

It didn't seem that way, to me. From what I read, he was rejecting NACS until it could provide 1000v charging. Seems like it was more of an anchor point, which I imagine Tesla/NACS will meet at some point in the near future, if for no other reason than to fulfil his demand.

Lidar Blocked whenever it rains - what does the Lidar do?

Curious - Does anyone know if Lidar was actually active and being used before ~.52/.55? Is it possible that they are just now activating and utilizing Lidar? Someone either here or on another forum, I can't recall where, made mention that not all sensors were in use yet...

Lidar Blocked whenever it rains - what does the Lidar do?

Can confirm. We had a mediocre rain, probably more on the sprinkling or misting side and I was getting that error off and on during my commute. I was wondering if someone was not calibrated correctly, as it seemed like Lidar should penetrate that light of precipitation... Maybe someone from...

Worst New Car Ownership/Customer Experience Ever

This is confirmed. I was initially told that the loaner would be covered. I showed up and was asked for a CC and to accept the rate, I placed a call from the desk to my service advisor and was told, "Oh, yeah, sorry, that change we were just told about this week..." THEN, in a strange turn of...

Worst New Car Ownership/Customer Experience Ever

Unfortunately, Lucid is having a lot of self-inflicted customer service issues, so this is not surprising. I just got my car back from 32-ish days in repair - all repairs from the Waybill way back from taking delivery in late October. They have too many people involved in the various processes...

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

I was able to get some "ideas"... I just got my car back this afternoon, so I'll be testing some things out tonight and will let you know. I'm using the Escort MaxCam 360 - works really well (but haven't tested in my GTA yet). I don't think my version is likely to be impacted by the glass...

    CarPlay is here! - Megathread

The Polestar 2 has CarPlay on a vertical screen similar to the lower lucid display.

[RESOLVED] Does your front footwell woofer work properly?

My Lucid tech has confirmed that there is now an official bulletin on this issue. I don't have the exact bulletin number, but this is how it was written up in my service doc: Concern: Customer states speaker issue. Cause: The fabric tape covering up the holes on the body are acting like a...

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

This isn’t abnormal in this day and age. Coming from a Polestar 2, similarly, it has a host of MobileEye cameras, sensors, and electronics in that zone. Mirror tap is what I used there, and only one appropriate tap was available. I feel like there are probably more on the lucid that wouldn’t...

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

Is this a clue, or more curious? We haven’t, but that may change this weekend based on your response! :)

    Radar Detector Hard Wire Installation?

I would love if someone could post a bulletin on dismantling the first cover - I've spent a lot of time working on the clips to that overhead compartment, and gracefully trying to get into it. From what limited visibility I have, there are two standard clips on the left and right on the plastic...

[RESOLVED] Does your front footwell woofer work properly?

This is amazing, and equally reassuring - because it precisely describes what my ears were hearing at ear level, and feeling the resonance in conjunction with the bass from the footwell speaker. Any chance you can get an ID on that bulletin, so I can have lucid service take a look at my car...

    2.0.24 Software Update

Same, just arrived this morning. Appears to be a 5 minute, non-descript update for future updates... ;)

[RESOLVED] Does your front footwell woofer work properly?

For speakers that either couldn't produce the frequency necessary, or the enclosure wasn't proper for the frequency response, we would put inline bass blockers to prevent the speaker from overexerting itself and causing the popping noise. This can likely be done in software, as I would imagine...

[RESOLVED] Does your front footwell woofer work properly?

That's actually fantastic news! Hopefully that means they can fix/replace the issue. I have an open service ticket, and should hear from the techs on Monday at the latest. Thanks for taking the time to check that track.
