Lucid Air 2026 CARB Executive Order

None of the 2025s available have DDPro as far as I can tell. That’s a non-starter for me. It makes sense they would push 2025s. I don’t think anyone has a 2026 yet. And they have inventory they need to move.

It's Always Darkest Before the Light...

I do believe this gets lost in all the conversations about software here. No one will sanely argue that software is where it should be. But it has come a long way this year. And that's with a whole new interface in Gravity, while still moving Air's features forward. Not to mention the ADAS...

MKBHD's review of the Lucid Gravity

I agree. He's not a reviewer for car enthusiasts, per se. But he has a huge audience, and for casual viewers who just want to know a quick thumbs up or down on a car, it's not a bad thing to have him out there giving Lucid some love.

QUESTION Which sound system should I order?

I wouldn't even consider not getting SSP. But as many have said here, it really depends on what you listen to and your particular ears.

Next-Gen Lucid Mid-size minimal parts? Autoline

I'm in a similar boat. If midsize were shipping, that would be my next car. But knowing Lucid, if shipping by "end of 2026" is their stated goal, that means we'll see them actually shipping in quantity at the end of 2027. And by then, I'll be only a year away from the end of my NEXT 3-year lease.

Gravity: Any videos of Mojave Purluxe Premium Interiors?

Tahoe looks better in person than in photos. It always looks more orange than it is in photos for some reason. I don't know if anyone has taken delivery of a Mojave PureLux Gravity that I've heard of. But I imagine the color is very much the same as the Air's Mojave. More likely there are...

Only DIsappointment in an otherwise great car.

I'm wondering if your car has poor cell reception wherever you tend to park overnight? Personally, I use CarPlay, so I never run into these issues. My audio is always ready to go, with whatever I last listened to on my phone.

    $7500 Credit for Gravity Leases

The reason you still got the $7500 for leases is a loophole for "fleet" vehicles. Because leased vehicles don't belong to you, they belong to the leasing company, LFS get to claim all leased Lucids are part of a company "fleet" which then qualifies them to take the credit. And then they pass...

Timothée Chalamet and Director James Mangold bring Lucid Gravity to life in Lucid’s new global brand campaign, Driven

Spare us the victim talk, please. We’ve been down this road a thousand times with people who want to say whatever they want with no consequences. That’s not how it works here. Follow the guidelines and you will run into no trouble. We’re not going to let you publicly attack other forum...

Timothée Chalamet and Director James Mangold bring Lucid Gravity to life in Lucid’s new global brand campaign, Driven

I’ll just put this out there, for the folks who want engineering specs. Apple is a trillion dollar + company. How many of us knows the speed of the processor or how much RAM is in their iPhone? They sold a gazillion iPods with dancing silhouettes, for crying out loud.

Timothée Chalamet and Director James Mangold bring Lucid Gravity to life in Lucid’s new global brand campaign, Driven

Staler and Waldorf, indeed. I didn’t realize we had so many advertising experts here on our little forum. 😝 It’s all good, though. Ads are always polarizing. If people are talking about it, mission accomplished.

It's Always Darkest Before the Light...

I get all the doom and gloom. I really do. And I’m not going to try and talk anyone out of it. But I like to remind folks that being here everyday, it’s easy to forget the real world. The folks who don’t live and breathe the Bear. When I got my car almost 3 years ago now, the most frequent...

    Battery below 25%

I can assure everyone that nothing happens at 25%. The light comes on at 10 or 9%, and even then all should work pretty much normally. I’ve gone as low as 6% without the car behaving any differently. I think it would have to be down to 1 or 2 % before anything would be shut down. It must...

Gravity test drive impressions, Millbrae CA showroom

If it’s anywhere as good as my Air in snow, you’ll be fine. Once I put snow tires on, winters in Breckenridge were no problem. I imagine the extra clearance on Gravity will make it significantly better.

The Changing EV Climate in the U.S.

This discussion reminds me of the people who told me most people would never use laptops. Because desktop computers would always be more powerful and cheaper. The industry has already seen the writing on the wall with EVs and is heading there, regardless. Sure the established brands always...

    Unsafe behaviour IPhone Wallet

Perfectly harmless. Put your phone next to anything that reads NFC and it will do that. So long as the Lucid isn’t asking for money, nothing will happen.

    Looking to lease

Neither the 20s nor the 21s can be driven in snow. At all. Your tires will essentially turn to glass and be destroyed if you attempt to drive them in the snow. Only the 19s are all-season for Air. As far as I know, there still aren’t any third-party alternatives for the 20s or 21s that are...

Do all GGT have massaging seats?

It’s all relative. Spec out any Porsche sometime and you’ll see how much more reasonable Lucid’s options are. Personally, I find the configuration on Lucid’s web site to be quite clear about what you get for each various option. So long as you click the little information icon it’ll explain...

Car Wash for my Leased Air Pure

Also, if you find a good, reputable car wash, that would be just fine. Just don’t go cheap and use one of those gas station auto-wash things that could scratch your paint, break off parts of the car, etc.

Car Wash for my Leased Air Pure

Ceramic coating is your friend if you are lazy. Makes cleaning so much easier. I recommend it on the interior as well. But be sure to have it done properly by a professional. Interior ceramic is different from what they use on the exterior.
