    Highway Assist

Do any lane centering systems avoid pot holes? Auto Pilot on my Tesla doesn’t. So far, my experience with Highway Assist has been pretty similar to my experience with Auto Pilot (and has been much better than my experience with the Honda system). Obviously, HA is limited to many fewer...

I don’t like Apple Car Play

I personally love CarPlay. I mostly listen to Audible, NPR and Podcasts and now have easily accessible apps for all of them. Woo hoo! For those of you who prefer high fidelity music, you can ignore CarPlay and use Tidal. It’s great that Lucid is working on an array of features to address our...

    Permanent button for Homelink

Me too! It’s even more frustrating when I compare the Lucid with all the clicks to close the garage door with my Tesla that closes (and opens) the garage door with no clicks at all. It presents a screen when it’s doing it to cancel the auto open/close in case you don’t want it. But 99% of the...

    Contactor Recall Megathread

I just got the software update on my 2021 Pacifica Hybrid. So now I will get a 1 minute warning before my vehicle loses power on the highway. This on a 5 year old model from a legacy car maker. I’m appreciating my Lucid more and more.

Tire blow out and jack point

Ditto. I live in Michigan, where snow and potholes are unavoidable facts of life. I have 19” wheels on my AGT and am very happy with them. Performance is so blistering I can’t imagine needing the increment you’d get from 21s.

How do i stop Spotify from autoplaying when I unlock car?

I personally prefer having the volume setting remain at the previous setting. But I also prefer having music resume only after I hit a button. I guess these are a matter of taste. So, short of giving us choices in the settings, Lucid won’t please us all with any one-size-fits-all defaults.

    Speakers not outputing troubleshoot

I have had this happen regularly before 2.0.58. So far, a hard reset has restored sound. But it’s sure not convenient.

    2.0.55

Like a lot of users, I was frustrated when scheduled charging didn’t work in 2.0.52. So I was very happy when Lucid fixed the problem so quickly. I’ve used the feature daily since installing 2.0.55 without any problems. But I want to call out another fix in 2.0.52 that was a big success for me...

New scheduled charging feature -- how is it supposed to work?

Yaay! 2.0.55 fixed the problem. Being able to schedule my charging during off-peak hours was near the top of my wish list. Now, if we could just get Apple Car Play, I'd be a happy camper.

    Give Kudos to Lucid

I want to express my gratitude to Tony at Coldwater. On a service visit to my house, he noticed a clip that attaches a piece of trim to the hood was missing, apparently lost by the shop that did my wrap. When I was unable to get it back from the shop, I asked Tony if he would mail me a clip...

New scheduled charging feature -- how is it supposed to work?

What a disappointment! I use scheduled charging on my Tesla every day and it couldn’t be easier. Set the charge (or departure) time and it charges at the specified time. On the Lucid, you set a charge time, get the confusing message about a 12 hour window, and them it doesn’t charge at all...

Lucid cold weather performance as bad as Tesla

I have a Tesla MS and a Lucid AGT, and I live in Michigan. So far, I’d say winter range degradation is similar in the two cars. I expected this, because it’s just the physics of batteries. But it’s also a key reason I bought the AGT. Up here it isn’t unusual for winter range to be half of...

    Most & Least considered cars

I agree with that! My Model S is loud at highway speeds! The Lucid is much quieter, although I thought the Mercedes EQS was even quieter when I test drove it. If I could have gotten past the casino glitz of the interior, I would have seriously considered it. But I’m happy with the Lucid and...

    Wind noise

I have experienced quite a bit of wind noise that seems to be coming from the passenger side mirror. It’s a high pitched, whirling sound, like you’d get if you were being buffeted periodically by high winds. But it happens when no wind is blowing. It only occurs when I reach about 70 mph, but it...

    2.0.24 Update

Yes, that does work. But it’s certainly not a convenient fix for an annoying big. Every time I get out of the car and get back in, I have to get out my phone, turn off Bluetooth, wait a minute, turn it back on, click on the Lucid device in the Bluetooth list to reconnect and then restart...

    2.0.24 Update

Since updating to 2.0.24 my iPhone goes silent every time I leave and return to the car, even if it’s only for a few minutes. Both the car and phone indicate that it is connected via Bluetooth, and they both show the media playing. But no matter how high I set the volume on the phone and the...

    EA Megathread

I loaded 2.0.15 and experienced the pulsing in ACC mode for the first time at 55 mph. It was too unpleasant to use, so I turned it off. But when I activated it on the highway at 70 mph, ACC was perfectly smooth, like it was before 2.0. Later I tried it again at 55 mph and had no pulsing. Has...

    Share your best pic!

I know lots of pictures have been posted, but here’s my Zenith Red GT with 19” wheels and Mohave interior. It arrived last week with only 3 days notice. I didn’t even get notified of a VIN assignment. But the car is working reasonably well. Much quieter than my Model S and no big glitches...

    Homelink

Automatic door opening is optional on Teslas. You can turn it on or off depending on your preferences. If it’s off you can operate Homelink by clicking an in on that remains visible regardless of backup camera status or anything else on the screen. Easy, the way it should be.

    Homelink

Tesla has had zero button push Homelink for many years. It automatically closes the door when you leave and automatically opens it when you come home. You can set the distance from the door that triggers open and close. At Lucid’s price point they should be aiming for this level of convenience...
