    27GB Android Mobile App?

App version 2.5.0 seemed to have stopped the stored data growth. In my case it also cut stored data from 21GB to 12GB. App version 2.6.0 seems to have addressed the residual stored data. In my case I went from 12GB to 55MB and the spouse went from 1.5GB to about .5GB (hand wave).

    27GB Android Mobile App?

I just spoke with Customer Care, software development is: - aware of the problem; - expects a fix in the next few days; - does not yet know which phones have/don't have the issue. In my own case, I have the issue on a Samsung S22+ with Android 15/UI7 (nearing 21GB). My spouse has an S22 on...

    27GB Android Mobile App?

The issue still exists, as reported here multiple others are experiencing it... no one should have to manually clear this data, nor should such uncontrolled growth exist, those are steps to just address symptoms, not a solution.

The one thing you'd like most right now (for your Lucid vehicle)

Higher quality code... it is not how much code you implement, it is if you implemented the right code at the right time in the right place... counter examples from recent threads include: inconsistent vehicle power up prior to door unlocking/opening (admittedly, this one may be hardware, but...

    OTA Update 2.7.0

It is almost like it would make logical sense for the update software to reboot the entire car (all systems) once the update has been applied such that the update can take effect in all of the sub-systems...

    27GB Android Mobile App?

@marqie, are the app developers working on fixing this? Mine was over 15GB of "Data" when I updated from 2.4.0 to 2.4.1 and has now reached 18GB...

[RESOLVED] Car won't sleep - 1% Phantom drain per hr

all you need to do is remove the app from memory... open it when you want to drive (to let the mobile key work), then after driving put the car in park, get out & let the car lock, then remove the app from the phone memory.

Rear seat heater recall (Solved by OTA)

Because just saying "improving operation and control" is a very misleading minimization statement... and such statements always get revealed in the end, even if there is a subset of customers who deny that better communications were possible... it smells of the age old problem that "'it's not...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

As I recall the battery talk on YouTube talked about how the break in was a process of the electronics learning about how each stack of cells behaved slightly differently from the other stacks and learning how to compensate to bring all the stacks into synch (hand wave)... thus, I would expect...

How Much Range Are You Actually Getting?

I'm not sure, but so far my experience is much lower mileage after dark too... I suspect headlights and the panels' lighting is significant (SWAG).

    Key fob issues

When you pull up the "recently used apps", is there anything from Lucid under the "active in background" link at the top of the screen? I've tried "locking" the app into memory with no change in characteristics. Have you set any special app characteristics for Android (e.g. I have its battery...

    Yearly service

Yes, and service (Tysons VA) says "no, not yet, wait for 12K miles"... so in this case Lucid speaks conflicting directions with two different voices... I feel like "a man with two watches".

    Key fob issues

It appears to me that Lucid does not have a background task running (or at least an event handler) to handle the BT coming/being in range. This is supported by the Samsung in memory apps list which has a list of apps "active in background"... I currently have 3, sometimes have only 1 or 2, but...

    Key fob issues

Yup, and not all Androids have the problem either... but Samsung S22 line (and perhaps others) do... CC has agreed that they know of the issue and claim engineering has/is attempted to address it, but I've actually decided (due to the other issues I mentioned of "intent") that I prefer the fob...

    Key fob issues

The mobile key does not function consistently for many of us. Ours only unlocks the car IFF the app is open and has focus (not just background). In addition, just because I walk by my car with my phone does not mean that I want the car unlocked... the phone is really (really) bad at knowing the...

    Yearly service

I've no idea what "wholuc" is... That doesn't change that when we called the wif was told "no, we don't want to see you at 1 year with 7K miles, wait for 12K miles." As we all know, Lucid is horrible at customer communications and that the service locations are not consistent... we can't force...
