Windshield Wiper Fluid out of blades - issues?

In my experience, if I haven't used the washer in a while (several days), it takes quite a while to prime the pump. I may have to hold the button down for 10 seconds before fluid starts coming out. That might be all that is happening in your car.

No HERE maps app available on Windows?

I have the same problem, using my Lucid to drive to trailheads, conservation land, even state and national parks that can't be found. I started adding POI's to HERE's database through their website, and they appear now in the web interface, but 9 months later still are not searchable in the...

A Total Eclipse from the Car!!!! (New England Spring Lucid Rally)

I already have plans to stay with friends in Tunbridge VT, and I think another Mass friend with a Lucid (not on this forum) will be joining us. Tunbridge is a little south of the path of totality; our host with local knowledge will recommend a place to watch between their home and Burlington...

    toll tags/rfid on windshield

Mine is on the dashboard behind the main LCD panel. Not visible while in the car, and it is read just fine. And I got a blackout sleeve for it so that it doesn't show from outside the car either!

    Hunting wild Lucid Airs

If you were in the right part of rural Vermont this weekend, there were two red Lucids at a commuter parking lot and later at a ChargePoint charger. Mine and a friend's. We were visting a location up in the hills on unpaved very muddy roads. We were picked up from town rather than trying to...

I hate the power rear sunshade controls

I occasionally run my Air through an automated touchless car wash. For many years, in whatever car I am driving, I habitually confirm all of the windows are closed before entering a car wash by pushing up on the driver's window controls. So every time I go to the car wash, I raise the side...

    Falling Asleep During Charge

No, it just saved our neighbor's Tesla. It's a detached two-car garage, shared with the neighbors.

    Falling Asleep During Charge

I was having this problem for a while. I started sneaking into the garage without my key or phone to check on the car, and finally caught the failure. The glowing white "LUCID" on the supplied cable changed to flashing red for a couple of minutes, then the car went to sleep. The outlet was...

    Referral prompts

I got an ad as a pop-up notification. Promptly turned off all notifications from the Lucid app, and will never turn them back on. I have zero tolerance for advertisements being shown where they shouldn't.

How many states has your Lucid been to?

A week after receiving our AGT last fall, we did a three week cross-country road trip, from Boston to Yellowstone. In that trip alone we went through 15 states (MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, OH, IN, IL, WI, IO, MN, SD, WY, CO, NE). In the year that we've had the car, we're up to 20 states.

    Post/share your non-Lucid other car(s)! (ICE-appreciation thread?)

My other car. It's not as fast as the Lucid... and it doesn't get driven very much anymore. We only have one garage bay at the house, and the Beetle lost out to the Lucid as that's the only place I can charge. So we rented garage space a couple of miles away for the Beetle. With it not...

    Boston Seaport studio Sep 24

I was there today. Got to touch and sit in a Sapphire. Other than the flared fenders and the spoiler, then changes are subtle, but there are a lot of them. The steering wheel is covered in suede instead of smooth leather. The mirror pods are carbon fiber rather than silver. The seat...

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

I finally did some experimenting with two iPhones, and that turns out not to be an acceptible solution. The problem is if you are using Bluetooth to stream music, you can't also connect a phone for hands-free calling or rush hour routing with Waze through CarPlay.

SiriusXM seemed to break internet connectivity... sorta

That's not what he asked. I really, really want to have satellite radio. I spend a lot of time driving where there is no cell service. If the car had an aux input to the stereo system, I would have long since added a third-party satellite receiver. But I don't know a way to make that work.

Really hate it when someone just had to park next to me..

This reminds me of a situation I see regularly. There's a place I go for nature hikes where the trail head leaves from the back corner of the parking lot of a medical facility. I always park in that corner, as do a number of other hikers and dog walkers who show up during the day. And there's...
