Used a low-profile 1-3/4 ton jack with a rubber pad built into it to slowly lift it on the rubber jack point just enough to get the old one off and the new one on. Easy peasy! Thanks for everyone's help and suggestions!!

From what I can see and am told, the Air also has the Prepare for Vehicle Jack Mode. And it seems that it's also prudent to disable the Shock & Tilt sensor.

Yes. It disables Auto-Leveling. I'll be sure to engage that mode before lifting it. Thanks for the heads-up. As far as getting underneath it, I would NEVER. I'm scared shitless of the possible outcome. I've had patients who made that mistake. It's not pretty. Good point.

Actually, I have had a lot of experience with changing tires and many other jobs working on vehicles over the years. I've just never worked on such a high-end car (or any EV to boot). I'm mainly just concerned with avoiding any damage to the battery which was just replaced by Lucid a month ago...

Thanks so much. I called them, but they won't just take the bad one off and put the new one on for me where the car is. They'll only tow it to a local mechanic. That's too involved for me, and my mechanic isn't open on the weekends (tomorrow's Saturday). Since I'm not on the side of the road...

I blew my driver's front tire out on my '23 AT a mile from home and destroyed the rim and rubber getting it the rest of the way. I can own that. I already have a remanufactured rim with a new tire (and the old, still ok TPMS on it) ready to go. I just don't know how to lift this thing to change...

I totally agree. My own '23 AT w/ DDP is great when on an open highway. I've even used it successfully on some secondary roads. I just hope they get to more comprehensive FSD-type capacity ASAP. I love what the Teslas can do, although I'd NEVER own one.
