I think the center consoles were incorrectly assembled in the earlier production vehicles and I know Lucid has been aware of this for awhile. I’d be shocked if customers taking delivery from now on have the same problems many of us early birds had/have.

Yes, this happens to me as well. wrt fob slot, the 'key not detected' warning has not occurred once when I put the fob in that slot. Anyway, maybe you're right and just a holder. I'll let the forum know if the warning occurs with fob in slot. We're all beta-testers, it seems.
