    negative feedback

It's hard to get a clear picture of how many people have issues with their cars. Forums like this one attract predominantly people at the extremes: the brand fanboys and the extremely negative owners. Other than some software bugs, my car doesn't have any issues. YMMV.

Does Lucid take non-Air trade ins?

They do. Their offer was worse than Carvana though, so I went with Carvana.

I can't remove dashboards that I don't care about (like all ScanMyTesla ones). Is that normal, or there is something wrong with my setup?

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I have. My other cars don't have that issue. And why would the DNS be an issue. I can connect to the car before it goes to sleep. What now?

    OTA Update 2.7.0

I know that it works for most people. That's why I am saying that the software is unreliable.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Spoke too soon. Still can't wake up the car when it's connected to WiFi.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

You mean, Apple or Microsoft introduced an update that lead people not being able to use their computers for a minute or two and waited a month before an update?

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Ahh, aren't you special, so sarcastic and everything... :) Everybody gets lucky occasionally. Give them some time, they'll screw up again.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

Everything looks good after the update. Need to test the "drive delay" a bit more, but so far so good. P.S. It looks that I can now wake up the car in the garage if it is connected to the WiFi, so I don't have any issues to complain anymore.

Software and Tech is totally unreliable

Are you claiming that they know how to write good software but don't? One of the easiest ways to improve on the software is to have procedures for capturing logs and being proactive about catching bugs even before the users notice them. There is nothing even close to what Lucid does. And let's...

Software and Tech is totally unreliable

It is a fact. Just check how many people have issues when others don't. That demonstrates that the software is unreliable. And the fact that Tesla had/has bad software doesn't in any way excuse Lucid. Since when stating facts is trashing Lucid? BTW the longer you have a car, the more you get...

Software and Tech is totally unreliable

Sure, but you should also allow for people have other priorities and complain about things THEY don't like. And, let's admit it, Lucid doesn't know how to write good and reliable software. That's a fact.

Software and Tech is totally unreliable

You know that a car is not just the software, right?

Software and Tech is totally unreliable

They would have been easy software updates if Lucid had a competent software development team. Apparently they don't.

No trips for today for me, "No data" in the mothership graph.

Since 2.5.0, app will not wake up car?

    I have vanilla Google Fiber.

Since 2.5.0, app will not wake up car?

I have the same issue with iOS. I just gave up and stopped connecting to the WiFi at home.

It would be great if you update the RPi images. I started installing it on my QNAP NAS this morning before I left for work, but I haven't installed containers on it before, so I am not sure I'll manage to make it work. I have few RPi5s laying around though...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

There is not a single security key. While I don't know the exact implementation, there is a key exchange between the phone and the car when a new phone is added. The key pair is probably generated by the phone. I really doubt it that unlocking the car depends on the cellular coverage.
