    Home Assistant Automations

So just buy Home Assistant Green and I'm off and running? How hard is it to integrate all my Apple HomeKit stuff?

I currently have a Telsa cable (at home charging), what adaptor can I use to charge a Lucid Air Pure?

Just so everyone is clear, these work on L2 chargers (like the Tesla destination chargers). The Tesla Gen 3 wall unit is an L2 charger.

I asked Lucid to sneak me in for a test drive in Dallas this Saturday. This was their response.

Appropriate response by Lucid IMO. Not the best behavior otherwise. Sorry.

    Finally sold my pure…✌🏻

Like I said, the amount of planning you need to do with an EV is many times harder than with an ICE. Sorry, but that's how it is. Hopefully, charging technology and charging networks will improve to a point where we don't need ABRP, Plugshare and an EV's nav to do a road trip.

    Finally sold my pure…✌🏻

I think you guys are in the EV distortion field. I can hop in my Hybrid, travel pretty much anywhere I want without giving it a thought. I can't come close to doing that in my EV. Maybe you live in places where there are DCFCs on every corner, where all stalls are operational, and there are...

    Finally sold my pure…✌🏻

I'm not sure why you're after me about this, but whatever.

    Finally sold my pure…✌🏻

Ok it is endemic to virtually all EVs except Tesla. I tell my friends who ask about EVs that they are great if you have home charging and don't take a lot of road trips. Otherwise it is much more complicated to own an EV.

    School me on delivery process

I just learned from my SA that my AGT is supposed to leave the factory on June 16th. When I picked this car off the Lucidmotors.com web site, it said "available in four weeks." Well that has stretched to six weeks, and the car won't be available until it is delivered to the studio in MA, so it...

Wall Connector vs Mobile Charger – Help Me Decide!

This is what I do (for my Audi). I keep a portable charger in my car, which is for emergencies, and also for when we visit our summer cottage. At home, I have a hardwired ChargePoint Homeflex, which is a smart charger with lots of bells and whistles. Well after three years, I can tell you I have...

Supercharging. Explain it to me like I'm five years old

Yes the Magicdocks work with any CCS--even my Audi.

Talk me out of/into 19" tires

    Wait--the 19s squeal?? Hell no.

Talk me out of/into 19" tires

After thinking about this a little more, the worst thing about my current 20/21s is how loud they are on rough/worn pavement. My current ride is so quiet that this tire noise is very noticeable. There have been a few times when I've had the tires at their limit, despite my current ride having...

Talk me out of/into 19" tires

I just spent 20 minutes searching for similar threads and couldn't come up with something similar to this question. I would be grateful if your could point me to that thread.

Talk me out of/into 19" tires

I have an AGT with 19" tires on order. I picked the 19s for several reasons. My current car has 20" fronts and 21" rears. I find the 20/21s look great and handle well, but they can be a little harsh and loud, particularly once the tread starts to wear (which happens pretty quickly). So I chose...

Current delivery lead time on custom orders

There have been some AGTs with DD Pro coming up on the website in the past week or so. I switched my order to one of those and am supposed to take delivery in four weeks.

    Finally sold my pure…✌🏻

What year? I am leaving Audi for many of the same reasons you state. The EV charging stuff is endemic to EVs. It sucks when you don't like your car. I hope you find one you love. 👍

Lucid Air Touring v Porsche Taycan

Interesting thread, as I own and Audi e-Tron GT (brother of the Taycan) and have an AGT on order. I am expecting this to be a lateral move. The two worst things about my Audi are the terrible service and the lack of range. The car is a little cramped but is a spectacular driving machine. I am...
