    Gravity Plan B

"Compromise Nothing" is starting to look a lot more like, "compare nothing" because they can't deliver any product. We had planned on delivery to be 8 months late (ish) and even with that buffer, we're now without a SUV to haul us around - so we're borrowing friends cars. Talk about pain in the @ss.

Green, Black, then White is what I was told (and those are the three most popular) and will be batched in groups.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Responded to another question that is similar here. https://lucidowners.com/threads/gravity-delivery-discussion.10959/post-268974 I don't mind stopping but I'd rather not compromise if I don't have to. And since I don't need three rows of seating, the full 450 range is better IMO.

I drive that route all the time. Grew up in Buffalo NY so there literally isn't a snow storm that I cannot manage. That said, we don't drive up on Fridays and back on Sundays because we don't have to and I don't need to be in that kind of traffic. We drive up now in Tesla's and in a Lucid Air...

changing from what wheels - to the 21/22's. HOPING that they are primarily stocking the 20/21's and the 22/23's.

It really depends on your use case. For you it looks like it makes sense. For me, my use is to drive from San Jose to Lake Tahoe (summer and winter) which is significantly uphill and cold in the winter. After 1-2 years of batter degradation, having that slight buffer makes the most sense. We...

Gravity GT First Drive and Orders information

From test drive - the three most popular colors are Green, Black and White and all three are prioritized for production runs. So if you want it fastest - you need to have ordered Green. But the other ones (Black and White) (again, from what I heard at the test drive) should also see early...

Test Drive vehicles - San Jose 4/24/25

what was your reaction to the Yosemite? I just changed my spec from Mojave to Yosemite. I drove the GGT in San Jose - see my review here. https://lucidowners.com/threads/ggt-test-drive-review.12107/

    GGT Test Drive Review

Totally agree. I suspect we don't need the full 450 in range, but after a couple years of degradation, I think it will then be pretty close. The downside of being first, is we have to guess a little.

    GGT Test Drive Review

4-23-25 I was able to test drive the GGT (green) in San Jose, CA. Drive lasted about 15 minutes on basic city streets. Overall Impression The reviews are not hyperbole - the GGT is really impressive. It has all the excitement, comfort, and drive of the Air - but EVERYTHING is just more...

Just a quick call out - that depending on the lease paperwork, you can't always just pay market value and buy it out / keep it. We had a Tesla Y and had to return it after the lease, no matter what. Purchasing it was not an option. So make sure you read the fine print.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Since we're all speculating - if it were software, wouldn't they be cranking out the physical cars, stacking them on the lot, and then issue a software update so they are all immediately ready to go? Strikes me since there are not a lot of cars stacking up anywhere, that something related to...

Thanks for that. I spoke with a friend who I convinced to order a Gravity. She went to the Newark HQ and said they had one there that she could sit in. She immediately ordered one after sitting in it. This would have been the first week of Feb 2025. They told her she could expect her build in Q3...

Any update or photos? As much as Lucid said they didn't want to take reservations without being able to deliver, that is now the exact situation they are in. I've emailed my sales rep and been ghosted for weeks now. We are in between cars (old lease was up) and waiting on the Gravity now but...

End of Road to Gravity. It’s time for Gravity on Road!!!

My wife said she saw a Gravity "in the wild" in San Jose, California this past week (week of Jan. 13th). I can't verify it because I was not with her so please don't ask questions about color, stealth, wheels, etc. She's not prone to punk me, much, so I believe it was an actual sighting. I've...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

Ordered Nov. 7th. Fully loaded. Has anyone in this group taken delivery? It seems as though Q4 was limited to a few cars to those closely affiliated with Lucid. Curious when real production rolls out.
