    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

Can confirm at least one of them was not working properly, hence why it was covered. And the manner of the malfunction really didn't seem like a software problem. Leads me to believe the supply chain issue is actually a design flaw and they need extra time to source updated replacement part(s).

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

I think about that Volvo concept probably once a week because of how obstructive the Air pillars are. I'm also ducking and weaving in the drivers seat to try and see things hidden behind it 😂

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

Interesting, when I drove it on Monday we removed the cover and gave it a try. It was extremely dim and nearly impossible to see, it was definitely malfunctioning. FWIW, this was a Touring model that is equipped with the HUD.

    27GB Android Mobile App?

That's pretty outrageous. I'm at 3GB and I think that's outrageous. What the heck are they storing?

That A pillar is definitely thick, but I think it's slightly better than the Air. That may be merely because the driving position is a bit further away from the pillar.

OTA Update 2.7 - Is AA Finally Happening??

This was posted in the Gravity section by @minivanasatruck https://lucidowners.com/threads/android-auto.12545/post-273689 but it appears a Reddit user claims to have gotten a 2.7 OTA which includes Android Auto. Anyone else seeing this? Possibly a fake screenshot but I'm optimistic. Edit...

    Android Auto

Guess that Reddit screenshot is from an insider then? Or maybe it's a fake

    Android Auto

Have not received any 2.7 update notification, but in my experience I usually get updates about a week after people start talking about them here. I'll be watching!

Outside the mall property, up past the Lockheed plant and down to 202 back to mall blvd

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

The test route I took today was on regular surface streets, and a small portion on a limited access highway. Yes, the route is technically around the mall property, but the KoP mall is the second largest retail space in the country. The route is a good showcase for the Gravity.

You may want to reserve a spot; they had back to back appointments today.

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

I believe it's a sort of road show, the email I saw about it indicated they'd be traveling to various locations around the country. The Gravity I drove today did not have PA plates. Usually when I do a test drive it takes me time to feel comfortable with the car. The Gravity had some X factor...

    Lucid Grand Reopening KOP

It was a very nice event! They had little swag bags for those of us in the owners club. I asked the execs about the HUD situation, no new info just talked about a vague supply chain issue.

Lease Turn in - Excessive Wear and Tear... ?

That's nuts. I'm so curious what the deal is with the sun visor. Never experienced this kind of nickel-dime with a lease turn in. If this becomes a trend with Lucid then there's no way I'm recommending these cars to people.

Starting to regret getting this car...

I've been told the parcel shelf I'm waiting on is a re-designed part specifically to address the rattle I'm experiencing. I guess we'll see.

Starting to regret getting this car...

Been waiting on my rear shelf replacement to address the audio issue for a few months now. Guessing production on this part is halted for Gravity. Really not cool how my sound system reminds me of the '90 Accord I had back in high school. Locking/unlocked is another well-documented problem...

    Rivian’s new energy-usage info

Sounds like a really cool feature, hope we see something similar in our cars someday. I've got to applaud Rivian for providing so much info to the user. It seems like many automakers are scared to display detailed info like that.

Beware the car, beware the company

Not if the car is completely dead, as OP described. Many cars have a manual neutral release, the Air does not have one as far as I'm aware. Ought to be a DOT regulation imho. Really hope OP's wife recovers from this experience, sounds pretty awful. If the situation is as OP describes, Lucid...

Feedback to the Lucid User Interface team from fresh owner

Number 1 is super frustrating! Hoping they address that one at some point. Congrats on the ride
