Blame the EPA cycle……not Lucid. Drive like the EPA cycle in EPA conditions and you will get that range. But, nobody dies that! Range is very speed dependent. If more so for Lucid, then drive slower if you want range. Or petition the EPA to change their cycle. Lucid is not deceiving anyone!

I stopped buying used….just new all the time. I get more peace of mind. Another issues is some accidental damage doesn’t get reported if repaired without insurance. Yeah. Most times it works out, but you could get a very bad apple.

Not necessarily, depends. Do you want peace of mind and warranty or save money? If money is more important, yeah, buy a used car. Regarding due diligence, you never know what issues a car has unless you drive it for a few days. A one time once over doesn’t reveal all faults.

That’s not a small scratch , and it seems to be extending onto the side, it just the underside. This is the problem with leasing. That’s why I never lease. Yeah, maybe you got a good deal but you never know what they will charge for when you return the car.

I would never buy a used car, you never know what issues the car had. If you can afford it, and want to keep the car more than 4 years, buy the car.

Downside of leasing- more expensive if you want to own and buy the car at the end of the lease , mileage limit, if you add film you need to take bit off, lease return charges for damage. Buying is cheaper if you want to keep the car 4-5 years. You may hear a lot of talk about out long term...
