    Target $0

I've had an Aptera reservation since Dec 2020 and they are only now starting to produce their first 40 vehicles. Aptera is not fully in the game yet, but also not quite out. My comment does not at all take away from your point, of course. (Coincidentally, my long wait for Aptera led me to...

Service center Response time seems to only be getting worse :( (Chicago Goose Island Service Center in this case) anyone else?

About three weeks ago during my visit to Roswell for a test drive, I was told that Roswell was in the process of hiring more staff. The statement "in the process" could mean many things, but perhaps your Roswell sales contact can render some assistance. As an aside, I'm not sure how helpful it...

Dream drive pro and autonomy subscription

I don’t understand this statement. Can you explain? I’m asking out of ignorance of the full capabilities of DDP; not asking to challenge you.

    Car stops charging

I'm not suggesting your car is without blame, but have you tried using a different charger--a portable L1/L2, for example, or an L2 that is located nearby your home?

Anyone ever had their child hurt by the 2nd row of a vehicle?

Objects with substantial mass and stored energy can be dangerous to human operators. Most of the vehicles I’ve owned or rented had mechanically released, spring‑loaded seats, and I understood the potential to be whacked in the face or head. Because of that, I never allowed my young daughter to...

    Target $0

I always forget to select "Any miles" in the Search Within filter. That usually resolves the limited inventory issue for me.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Did you pick up the vehicle or have it delivered? I would hope that before a vehicle is picked up, the team doing the prep would have checked these items.

From Highway Assist to Hands-Free-Assist & Lane change assist - An Air Positive review

That's inspiring. I'm planning a 3400 mile road trip for next July, and I intend to use DDP whenever possible.

Brake System Fault, Automatic Vehicle Hold Fault

I was smitten after my first test drive. The second test drive two weeks later confirmed that I was all in. No comparison to any other vehicle that I have driven or ridden in. The only comparison the the LEAF is the quietness and efficiency.

Brake System Fault, Automatic Vehicle Hold Fault

This is supported by a note in the 2026/2027 Owners Manual (under Brakes): "The dynamic power gauge surrounding the speedometer will indicate when regenerative braking is limited, either due to battery temperature or a high state of charge." I don't even own the car yet, and I read the entire...

Hardware Covers / Caps for Sun Visor Delete

I’ve been imagining way to create a “drape” that sits to the side that can be pulled horizontally when needed. Lucid’s visor setup is ripe for aftermarket solutions.

My experience with Lucid Air Pure and Lucid Gravity GT so far and a question

Lucid has a page describe what is and is not acceptable under their wear-n-tear rules: https://lucidmotors.com/knowledge/ownership/financial-services/vehicle-lease-end/excess-wear-use-guidelines Perhaps you’ve already seen this and Lucid’s assertions are above and beyond what is in their...

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

I’m in Tennessee. I’ve also been driving for 50 years. I don’t know if (older) age impacts rates.

Anyone up for auto insurance rate comparisons?

Using the VIN from my order for the 2026 AGT w/ glass canopy, USAA quoted me $1500/year. I switched my order to a 2027 w/ DDP, and I suspect my quote will change once I provide the new VIN.

2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring - "new" to me

I had my eye on that one, but I really want the glass canopy. Beautiful ride at a nice price. Congratulations!

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

I agree with you. The L2 is potentially 20%+ more efficient. We're using the L1 mostly out of my laziness. The contacts "kerchunk" on the L2 make my wife nervous, so she'd rather plug in the relatively quiet L1. If I programmed the LEAF for charging from, say, 01:00-05:00, which nets about 80...

Should I get the lucid home charger or something else?

I agree with @petergottlieb about evaluating your true needs. When we bought our 2015 Nissan LEAF, we lived in Montgomery, AL and could take advantage of reduced electricity rates if we charged after hours. I installed a 240V circuit and built a 28A kit from OpenEVSE...
