    EA Megathread

I used this charger on Monday and also got 74kW from the 150kW. The 350kW on the right provides 150kW. It’s a little disappointing how hard it is to get a good charge rate, and annoying that you often have to switch stalls and hope.

    Excellent NE service

That makes me wish they'd actually called me back last week like they promised they would. I paid $78 out of pocket to balance the tires. One of them had 28 lbs of road force and had to be match mounted. It's pretty disappointing to get a $150k car with 3 misbalanced tires and then have to pay...

    Excellent NE service

I wouldn’t mind as much if they just told me they were backed up. The problem for me is that the last three times they told me someone would call me shortly. Panel gaps are not the only problem, though admittedly almost everything (except the misbalanced tires) is minor.

    Excellent NE service

I also got a call today from John. Looks like my car will be going in for a few days next week to get all its issues addressed. I'm going to drive the car to the Ashland location myself since I'm not that far away.

    Excellent NE service

My service experience so far in the same service region is not as good. My car arrived with some panel gaps that needed to be fixed, and 3 of the 4 tires needed to be balanced. I paid out of pocket to get the tires balanced because I didn't want to drive 500 miles around Canada with the car...

    Lucid Connected Home Charging Station

Can someone post a link to the installation manual or some photos of any pages with wiring diagrams/instructions? I’m mostly curious. Also, what is a chair lug? Never heard this name but probably would recognize it if I saw it.

    EZ Pass Placement

I only just installed it now, but will know by Monday since I’m going through tolls tomorrow. The Amazon listing claims no impact, and I was able to use it from that location before installing the silicon cover. I’m hoping it will work fine.

    EZ Pass Placement

I ended up mounting mine under the lip of the cockpit. It was a little ugly from the outside though: So I bought this on Amazon: Now it looks like this: The package included black adhesive stickers to replace the stock clear ones, but several of the reviews said they were poor quality and...

    Tesla J1772 Wall Connector

The connector on the end looks pretty sexy though. How does the connector on the wallbox look and feel?

    SW 2.0

I’ve seen many software build setups where a version has to be “tagged” before the final build, and building precedes a final QA inspection. If the build fails or final QA fails, the build is discarded and the public may never see that version released at all. That’s likely why 2.0.0 wasn’t...

RESOLVED High pitch beeping sound from near drivers door

It's definitely a constant rate non-continuous sound. That's how I define a "beep". Definitely not the seat fan, I forgot I even have those ;-) How do I remove the battery?

RESOLVED High pitch beeping sound from near drivers door

I will check tomorrow, but I don’t think it’s coming from the speakers. It’s not the sort of wine or buzz sound you would normally get from a speaker. I also hear it when sound is off and the sound level is constant regardless of audio level when on.

    OTA 1.2.21

Has anyone here not gotten the update to 1.2.21 yet? My car had an issue updating to 1.2.20 and it had to be resent. I’m wondering if my updates may have gotten stuck after that. I am trying to decide if it’s time to text customer service to ask for help.

    EZ Pass Placement

You mean behind the retractable pilot panel? Wouldn't it get knocked off when the screen retracts? I must be misunderstanding this. I currently have an eternally mounted transmitter that screwed in to the license plate. I needed this for my Model S because the windshield had a tiny little safe...

    New member in Boston, MA

I went to the RMV myself, got plates on the spot. The only snag I hit was that I needed the insurance company to fill out the RMV-1 form, the RMV insists on it. You can't cross out anything on the form. The RMV servicers get very pissy if you say you completed any of the fields yourself. I don't...

    October OTA Updates

I see there are a lot of us that are interested in helping Lucid vet their pending updates. @Firstto520, what is the best way for us to share feedback and bug reports? Are there any constraints you would like us to place on them? F.e. suggesting "add sentry mode" is useful as a long term...

RESOLVED High pitch beeping sound from near drivers door

When I’m driving, I hear a very high pitch sound beeping at a constant rate. Fit doesn’t seem to vary with speed. I can sometime hear it when at a stop, but it seems to come and go. It’s high enough frequency that it’s probably not audible to some people. If I hold my hand up at the 10 o’clock...

Lucid hit piece from this forum

Having posted images in a public space does not cancel your personal copyright to the image. Issue a takedown order. Charge them a fee for violating your copyright. Notification or warning sounds while driving?

I had a similar problem on my first day. For my, it was the distracted driver warning. It didn’t show up on the screen long enough to even tell what it was, so I just had to start turning stuff off and hoping I found the right thing. This feature need serious improvement.

Contactors in the high voltage battery pack

Also this explains why the 12v battery failing renders the car undrivable. You lose the 12v controlling that relay and the HV battery disabled automatically.
