Offset Difference in After-Market Wheels OK?

my comment above assumes the wheels are the same widths. Which you haven’t told us. There are online calculators to help you figure it out.

Offset Difference in After-Market Wheels OK?

Just use a 6-10mm spacer. Easily available online. I’d go for hubcentric spacers given the load of the car Luckily you are trying to go from 32 to 40 and not the other way A wheel with a +40mm offset will sit ‘inwards’ 8 mm more than a wheel with a +32mm offset so you definitely don’t want to...

The best intentions to stave off battery degradation

Here is some interesting news and research: drive your car hard! If this is indeed true I don’t think you have anything to worry about. https://www.autoblog.com/news/stop-babying-your-ev-hard-acceleration-actually-extends-battery-life-by-195k-miles

    1/2 platinum 1/2 stealth

virtually every Tesla is white. i'm not sure i'd want to copy that crowd ;) haha trust me, Lunar wouldn't be my first pick, but of the 6 to choose from it's that or black. The launch colours for The G are all pretty boring. I might wait 1-2 years and see if they add something a bit more...

    1/2 platinum 1/2 stealth

white just isn't practical for us living in the pacific north west and driving in snow, sleet etc each weekend to get to the ski hill. it will look dirty 99.9% of the time that.............and I hate white cars with very few exceptions ; my dad's previous white on red 1959 Jaguar XK150 for...

    1/2 platinum 1/2 stealth

Nothing fancy. I took a screenshot of the entire car in stealth and then a screenshot of the platinum wheels and pasted them into the original image. Haha. Old school before AI :)

    22"/23" All-season/Winter tire options?

Why would you want wide snow tires? it’s better to downsize for winter tires. You want a narrower tire which puts more pressure on the road to plough through the mud snow and ice. So using a proper snow tire in the same dimensions as the 22/23” tire isn’t a smart move. FWIW I currently...

    1/2 platinum 1/2 stealth

What do you guys think of this look? Stealth Package but with the 22/23" Aether wheels from the Platinum package. I love the Stealth look but I'm not a fan of black wheels except in certain circumstances. Here is mockup, in my preferred colour of Lunar Titanium. I wonder if you could order it...

    Install tow hitch after delivery

It doesn’t look like the hitch receiver is included if you don’t order the tow package when you compare this photo to the photo by @Jeffgtx

    Install tow hitch after delivery

Tow hitch and tow package are likely 2 different things I’d be surprised if you couldn’t buy the tow hitch separately at a later date so that you can install a bike rack. But the tow package requires wiring for a trailer etc. Can anyone clarify?

    Second row folding fail?

We can close off this thread. Someone else posted in another thread that the back of the middle seat does indeed fold down to allow for skis, gear, getting to the back etc. I had just found it odd that in none id the pics or vids I saw showed this (and I think I’ve watched every YT video so...

    Gravity Bike Rack

Gravity tongue weight is 600lbs @johnse nailed it. The issue when carrying bikes / cargo boxes etc is the moment arm (the distance ) since now your weight is leveraged back a few feet. So the acceleration forwards/ backwards and up and down (since roads aren’t perfectly smooth your rack and...

    Gravity Bike Rack

And they had the audacity to post a few videos with a pro MTB rider on their facebook page and the Gravity X. Why do you need a 7 passenger SUV if you can only take 2 bikes on the back!!! I think the only option will be a 3rd party aftermarket hitch unfortunately

The one thing you'd like most right now (for your Lucid vehicle)

I don't have a GGT yet - but strongly considering it. I think the most disappointing thing for me that I've been reading is that the hitch can't hold more than 110lbs. My vertical bike rack weighs ~100lbs and that's before I load 3-5 bikes on it. This is a family hauler. Many other SUVs have...

    Gravity Bike Rack

110lbs is completely inexcusable for a family hauler. My vertical bike rake weighs ~100 lbs and that's before I put 3-5 mountain bikes (non-ebikes) on it. This is really disappointing. Why didn't they do what others do and have a panel on vertical part of the rear bumper with a permanent...

    What would you change?

Here are another 2 things i’d change: 1. Paint colours available. At this point I’d go for the Lunar titanium but some more options would be nice. I get the space theme but they are pretty bland for such an exciting car. 2. Two tone interior option like the Air. Yosemite seats in front row...
