Apple is opening NFC to 3rd Party Apps (iOS 18.1)
iPhone opens the Wallet app when I tap it against the drivers B-pillar. Since the backup key card uses (I presume) standard NFC tech, it should just be an API and some code to make the phone work like the key card, right?- OCDC

It still blows my mind that this is the ENTIRE gear set that pushes the Air! I'm pointing to the differential and it's TINY! In a regular car, this would be 5-8" across and weigh 10's of pounds!- OCDC
