Good luck and hopefully no more delays 🤞. Getting really tight with not much wiggle room to take delivery before EOY

Got a call from the short hills showroom and looks like the car did nor reach here today due to weather issues. They are expecting it sometime tomorrow and delivery got rescheduled to 2.00 pm on Thursday. She mentioned 8 cars were coming in tomorrow and 14 on Thursday

I installed the Juicebox 40 Nema 14-50 charger today. Went with this option instead of the hard wired option so that I can use the NEMA 14-50 plug with the Lucid charging cable if there is any issue with the Jukebox L2 charger

I am scheduled for tomorrow but looks like the car is not here yet.

Congrats! Should plan a NJ meet up in the new year

I am planning to drive there directly after taking delivery. Thinking of PPF for the front I was holding off on the submitting for chargeupnj since it mentioned we need to submit Valid NJ EV registration showing a residential address in New Jersey. So was waiting for the car to be delivered...

I called Peotter to get estimates for the PPF and they asked me to bring in the car after delivery to provide the estimate. My L2 charger was installed today (Juice Box 40), its available in Best Buy for $549 with 25 Ft cable and now need to submit the documents for charger rebates and...

If not for this forum I wouldn't have gone ahead with my first EV purchase. Hopefully I get to 25 posts before I get my car tomorrow so that I can get access to the exclusive club :)

Thank you!! I am scheduled to pick up the car tomorrow afternoon and my wife has been complaining that all my conversations are about the car in the last few days :) . Can't wait to get behind the wheels

@joec , I have the GT checklist but if there is a customized one you created for Touring can you please share the PDF Thanks!

Article on WSJ about the need for improved charging infrastructure for electric cars to become mainstream and the difficulties especially in cold weather https://www.wsj.com/articles/not-so-fast-on-electric-cars-toyota-biden-subsidies-technical-difficulties-cold-weather-traffic-cyber-11671830734

Thank you for the insights, not letting the SOC too low during winter makes sense. Was bit worried after reading the article and the last thing I wanted with a new electric car is to be stranded in the cold with wife and kid in the car. Is it recommended to pre condition the battery before we...

The one reported by Kyle on his youtube channel was related to EA chargers. The Tesla error message mentioned the battery was heating but the message remained even after being connected to the super charger for 2 hours. Looks like more cold weather testing is needed on both the chargers and the...

Glad to hear the service has gotten better. I am taking delivery on Wednesday and looking forward to seeing more Lucids on the road

Kyle had reported earlier this week regarding the new EA BTC chargers not working in cold weather. Looks like similar issues were reported with Tesla Super Chargers as well this week...

I am not mounting it. They asked me to sign a waiver when I signed the PA for this

I live very close to the short hills showroom and visit the store often. The team there is very cordial and great to work with. I have had three test drives - first one in June (Grand Touring), the second one to test the 2.0 software (Grand Touring) and one more a week and a half ago when they...

Received a call from the Short Hills showroom this morning and they scheduled me for delivery on Wednesday at 1.00 pm. The car is expected to reach the showroom on Tuesday. Wasn't expecting them to be working today on Christmas Eve. I am sure the DA's and the delivery folks are overwhelmed...

You can get it at the service centers.

At this point I am not even thinking about the swag :). All I need is for the schedule to hold and the car delivered before EOY !!!
