Taking side bets on this? Since socktucker is actively trying to get Lucid to buy his back……

Auto Park Mishap: Front Bumper Scraped on High Curb

Yeah the salesman showed us how to do the auto park in my wife’s new X6 and I was 100% sure it was going to hit the car next to us as it was backing up but it obviously didn’t and it parked exactly perfect in between the lines of the space. I never use the feature in my Model S because it just...

    Steering Wheel detached

Ahhh, Fiat - mine decided that the accelerator cable should snap and stick wide open while I was driving on a 2 lane road at night with no way to slow down and not enough experience to know what the hell to do. Lucky for me no one was coming as a I blew through a stop sign before I figured that...

Future-Proofed for a Future That Never Came

Nobody has the luxury today of what Tesla did back then - they were the only real game in town. If you wanted a real world EV then you went with Tesla and put up with the foibles. Now, there is no need to settle, or compromise, as the choices are plentiful. Makes it much harder to compete for...

    The Long Goodbye

He’s not living in the past if he is dealing with these issues TODAY.

    The Long Goodbye

It really shouldn’t take a multiple Lucid owner who has posted continuously about his issues (or that YouTube personality dude) to actually finally be told what is going on by someone at the company. Why is everyone else completely in the dark about these efforts? Radio silence is a terrible...

    The Long Goodbye

What a catch-22 they are in - they absolutely need to get the midsize out to get volume and revenue, but launching the midsize could make everything worse if it isn’t 100% fully baked. You’ll know if the new CEO is a long term thinker with a long leash from the PIF or is going to try to make a...

    Lexus Electric SUV

People will buy them because Lexus has earned their reputation for reliability, resale value, and excellent service. Cutting edge folks will prefer others like the Gravity, but there is a reason they sell so many boring-ass RXs too. I could almost guarantee that the ownership experience will...

    "Pull Forward" Call From Lucid

Those ARE reasons from a business perspective. Hiring/managing people, providing good service at fair and profitable prices, working hard to help customers - those are all business reasons. Problem is, the vast, vast majority of dealerships suck and treat everything like a one time...

    "Pull Forward" Call From Lucid

Hahahaha - really? Ridiculous pricing of even basic service items Service centers not trying to fix anything, just replacing at high cost instead Financing games all the time Pushing extras like extended warranties, wheel and tire, glass coverage ADM games Lowballing trades Wasting time even...

    "Pull Forward" Call From Lucid

Oh god - please don’t go dealer model - most of us will never go back to working with a dealer as even the best of them suck.

    Service Unresponsive

Who came up with the slogan, the company or their customers? If your take is right then just make it “Compromise on some things”.

Rivian Q1 2026 earnings- half came from Amazon

lol like the stop sale is a good thing or by choice - that was for a defect and supply chain issues. Results - Lucid sold less than Rivian in Q1. I guess you can filibuster why but sales are sales.

    Gravity DE Arbitration Victory

Exactly. Lucid didn’t offer anything - they lost and were required to do the buyback. They can’t hold the “plaintiff” to any NDA at all since there was no consideration from them.

    Torrance Service Center Availability

You missed the “multiple calls and voicemails” part of his post.

    Stock price of Lucid

Sure - if they suck at their jobs and have no idea what they are doing. Is your suggestion that this is the case so that’s why the money is being doled out over time - to protect from the execs just blowing it all? This is like the “here’s your sign” routine from Bill Engvall.

    Possible new Gravity owner

You should probably also consider what kind of luxury experience your wife prefers and expects, especially since she loved her last Benz.

    Stock price of Lucid

Institutional shareholders have 75% of LCID. Can you imagine any car company making that a requirement? Remember - Tesla had a million reservations for the Cybertruck. That 135k order backlog is not real - those are just refundable deposits that might never materialize into a sale.

Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

lol - the market cares exactly zero what some random engineers think, clearly. The market is BS - any more insane insights to share, like hold LCID for decades?
