Your correct except that the Spark is limited to 3.3kW L2. However, it can DC fast charge at 40kW which is good for it's 19kWh battery:)

Wonder if you missed the little release button below the charge port indicator lights in your logic matrix. When using an adapter to the port that has no button it is the easiest way to stop the charge and release the plug.
