Hey, Gravity Owners! Key Fob Firmware 2.35.13 Now Available

Got a chance to test this as my fob became unresponsive for maybe the third time in 7 months. Nice idea but I think maybe they didn't think this one through. So I'm showing off my car to relatives in town, we're standing outside the car and the fob is not doing anything. Slightly embarrassing...

Gravity HUD Position and Clarity Questions

As a 5'6" driver I find the HUD to be clear, focused, level and useful. However, at slow speeds around town, turning corners etc, I find the HUD to be distracting while I'm trying to see around the extra wide A pillar blocking whole cars and pedestrians. The only way to guarantee seeing around...

How To Download Gravity Owner's Manual

Looking back version 3.5.1 was released on the 19th, three days later! No new manual on the website yet. The one in the car is newer though.

    Window not fully closing, tilted

If it looks anything like this you should have it fixed asap. Just show it to Lucid and hopefully they can schedule you in. It literally took them < half hour to fix. Happened while on a trip. I could push it forward and close the door from the outside. It's just some loose hardware in the...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Great question, sure to be argued, but slow regen will generate slightly less losses. Since the energy of the cars change in momentum must equal the energy to the battery + the losses, the lower the losses the higher charge.

I think there is a misunderstanding of high regen regarding efficiency. High regen for a stop in which the disk brakes are not used is definitely less efficient than low regen. The only times high regen is more efficient is when you want to stop so quickly that on low regen the disk brakes...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Even more irritating is that under those same circumstances looked to see if it got recorded... nothing. Thought it was supposed to record when something slams on the brakes. I think you can disable it under a non-obvious location, maybe cross traffic alert. I was able to get it turned off...

Sorry that ain't gonna happen. With the AI revolution lazy programmers let AI figure out the rules from what others are doing on the road. Kind a like how high school e-bikers have gotten bolder and bolder as they see what others around them are getting away with. Only AI will learn quicker...

Think that's an iPhone app bug. Try putting your finger around the Version no and drag down slightly. Had something similar that I can't seem to reproduce on the main screen when pressing the little down arrow to get the additional icon buttons. That worked but afterwords the screen wouldn't...

Key Fob Battery Life after Update to latest firmware

Perhaps, except it definitely wakes up when you open a door.

Wonder if you noticed any change in efficiency. At a set speed it seems to not oscillate between regen and acceleration so much which has got to help the range. Can't wait to try on a long trip!

Key Fob Battery Life after Update to latest firmware

Bumping this post as the name says "... Latest Firmware" and now we have 3.6.0 3.6.0 doesn't seem to have changed the fob battery consumption much even thought the range to car lighting up and range to car unlocking have changed for me by ~5 feet. So most of what I posted in post #35 still...

    Emad Dlala out

Come on! As Spock said about Captain James T. Kirk.. being an engineer was his "first best destiny". Any kind a management would be a waste of his talents.

    "Conserve Mode" discussion

I made this graph a while ago with data from the https://evchargingstations.com/chargingnews/eastern-edge-extreme-ev-race/. They did really bad by the way. I could have interpreted their data incorrectly. I get closer to 3.5 at 70mph. So if you want more range SLOW DOWN. :)

Seems to be working the last few times I checked. Looks like another wave is coming in. It would be neat to see a plot of updates vs time.
