Took 2K mile road trip, now looking to sell Gravity

It does sound like it's too big a car for you. For city traffic, I use the turn signal cameras for everything rather than trying to look around. That provides plenty of visibility IMO, and the car's performance is so good that I find it's very easy to dip in and out of lanes at a moment's...

Lucid Gravity Grand Touring - upcoming test drive - what to look for?

The car limits AC charging to 80A, so it won't go above that. Regarding dynamic range, just be mindful that it depends heavily on driving style, weather conditions, elevation, etc. When I'm tooling around town/local highways, I tend to zip around pretty quickly and not worry about efficiency...

    Is service overwhelmed?

Dallas service center is planning to open later this year, so that will help quite a bit in terms of general service for TX owners. Lucid is aware of the situation, but I don't disagree that the sooner, the better.

Lucid Gravity Grand Touring - upcoming test drive - what to look for?

One thing to note is that while the Air is fully capable of charging at Tesla SC's, it maxes out only at 50kW, whereas the Gravity can go all the way up to 400+. If you're using CCS charging stations, the Air can pull 300+, FYI. Just don't want you to be surprised/alarmed. FWIW, the Gravity...

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

I'm going to try and go. Have to figure out schedule that weekend first though.

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

The Austin techs are phenomenal. Jason and Santana are great guys and communicate very well. They use Autocraft Bodywerks in South Austin as their base of operations, in the event they can't do the service at your home.

ALL TEXAS OWNERS (or future owners) please post on this thread

Great looking ride! Congrats on the purchase. Have a growing number of Airs in Austin, and have seen several Gravity drivers around, but as of beginning of this year, the service techs told me there were less than 10 in the area. Did get a thumbs up on Hwy 71 a few months back from a fellow...

    FM Radio??

FM works just fine in both my Gravity and Air.

    Gravity 3.5.1

I too use it almost every day, in tight drive-thru lanes as well as in our garage. I've found it to be one of the more useful features that's been added recently.

Excise Tax (Texas) on 2022 Lucid Air Grand Touring Lease

Honestly, that's super frustrating. I will say that I've had a similar experience with our last lease (different company - major automaker). Our neighborhood is not part of the City of Austin, but our address says Austin. Apparently, even if the county waives the charge with the appropriate...

    gravity jr. beware

Fair point, but multiple times a year, I do a 12-13 hour drive (each way), and saving 5-10 minutes per stop does add up! All in all, the Gravity is a fabulous roadtrip vehicle.

    gravity jr. beware

For what it's worth, since the latest update, haven't had any issues at all with the keyfob. Certainly was a major misstep on Lucid's part, but fingers crossed, the worst is behind at this point. Like I've mentioned elsewhere, once the mobile key is enabled, I won't even likely carry the fob...

    gravity jr. beware

100% agree on this take. Drove our gravity to NOLA for Mardi Gras, and the charging speeds made the drive a breeze. 20% to 80% at Superchargers in ~15 minutes. Also, having both a GT Air and Gravity, I can confidently say the driving dynamics of the Gravity are a marked improvement. Almost...

Should my new Gravity have come with two key fobs?

The dream editions came with 2. Grand touring/Touring only 1.

    3.0 on Air

Once it hits the rewards store, I'll also be scheduling the upgrade!

    toll tags/rfid on the Gravity

As another datapoint, I placed my EZ tag (Texas) in the rectangle to right of mirror and the tolls recognized it.

Hit Only 3 Weeks In :(

Final adjustment is ~$25k as well. Just waiting on parts. That's before I have to take back to the detailer and get re-PPFed and ceramic coat.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Just updated this am. Car woke up immediately upon walking up, screens were on right away, and no blasting ac. Will be driving more today so more to test.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I'd second that in terms of checking that. I did push the new update thru this morning when I woke up, and with both my Air and Gravity, I have to manually push any software updates.

    Would You Purchase Again?

Definitely would buy again. Started as an owner of a ‘22 Air GT which was easily the best car I’ve ever owned. Took delivery right after the big 2.0 software update so never really had any software bugs. For quite a while now, the software has been fully stable for me. And mobile key and...
