    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I just traded in my 2017 Model S P100D for a 2025 Air Touring. The process is pretty simple: the SA sends you a link to kbb.com to fill out and upload docs & pictures, and you get a preliminary value. The Lucid KBB rep then sets up a video (Teams) call to do a virtual walkthrough, after which...

Glad to hear this. I closed my Twitter/X account because of Elon, so I didn't see Nick's post ;) Thanks for the update.

Here is another take on the reason for Gravity shipment delays, also hinting at potential further delays. To be clear, this is just a rumor. I hope this turns out to be false, but I'm staying the course regardless. investing.com

Upgrade to the 2025 Lucid Air: $4,000 Discount for Tesla Owners

My wife and I both drive Teslas, and we both want out ASAP. So I traded in my MS P100D for an on-site Fathom Blue AT and we'll trade in my wife's Model 3 when the Gravity is delivered. I took my wife to the Studio just to show her the Air, and we ended up placing an order because the deal was...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I posted about this months ago when tariffs first became an issue. I am not a lawyer, but I carefully read the purchase agreement; it is a binding contract, and the price is fixed at the amount specified on the "Final Price Sheet" sent to you after placing your order. As far as I can tell, we...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I did the same thing with my MS P100D in 2017, but for $10k. I think they said FSD would be available in 2018. Now I'll be getting rid of it more than 8 years later, and it never arrived. Promises made, promises kept. I have no regrets about moving on from Tesla.

    Gravity [Dream Edition] Reservations Tracker

Was anyone else told that your deposit becomes non-refundable when you switch to the DE? Not that it's a big deal, but I have not seen this written down anywhere. Studio rep said this today when we talked.

Might be the unit that showed up in Legas a while back. Same colors and has the HUD installed.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

It's really easy to get carried away by the enthusiasm Lucid has for Gravity. I understand that - optimism is easy and natural. My personal opinion is that it's more about rampant enthusiasm than intentional misrepresentation. Companies are always under pressure to deliver and it is very hard to...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

For what it's worth: I had a long conversation with one of the Studio reps earlier this week, and we got onto the topic of the Owner's Forum. I mentioned that the delay was creating consternation for many members, and I asked about the source of the delay. He confided that the issue is...

I should have been more specific - you do not need 1000V for V3/V3+ cabinets, which are 99+% of the dispensers in the wild in the US. But certainly no harm in getting a 1000V one. Maybe someday!

    Gravity Orders Discussion

Gravity will include a 1000V 500A NACS to CCS1 adapter (free). Nothing has been said about the Air adapter by Lucid other than it will be "available" in Q2. I would assume it will not be free, only because they said the Gravity's adapters are free; if Air was going to be free to current...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I talked to my sales rep extensively before ordering on 11/7, and he was clear that I should not expect delivery until Q2 at the earliest. He said existing owners and maxed-out configurations would be the first off the line. Thus far, in line with my expectations, but while I'd like it as soon...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

Planning way ahead here, but I have been emailing with PlugShare to add a NCAS port to the 2025 Gravity vehicle config. As of today, it is now active. I'll see about getting ABRP to add Gravity next. We have some graduations to attend in May and June so I'm exploring a few road trips with...

    NACS Megathread

I posted on the Gravity orders thread about this, but Gravity has Supercharger access now (as of 1/31) and Air will have access in Q2. Adapters will be offered, but not necessarily for free. Max charge rate with Gravity will be 225kw, but no change to the Air's 50kw limitation.

    Gravity Orders Discussion

I used to have a Chevy Suburban with a third row that was removable. It sat in the garage 99% of the time and was only used when we had the entire family over. The family is now too large by 1 for a 7-passenger vehicle, so it made no sense to me to give up all the underfloor storage. I am...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

It's hard to say what the story is right now, as they are still being cagey about the specs. Also, Emad is not the best communicator. But he was clear that efficiency is part of the equation, so perhaps they are looking for leadership in "miles gained per minute of charging," and not just kwh...

    Gravity Orders Discussion

Highlights from the discussion with Emad: Charging peak slightly greater than 400kw, but the focus was on the "integral of the charging curve" rather than just the peak it was suggested that the charge rate at 50% would be "over 200kw" Emad said Gravity charging curve would "be the best"...

Just posted: "Join Kyle, VP of Powertrain Emad Dlala and CEO Peter Rawlinson for an in-depth discussion about the crazy fast charging capabilities of the Lucid Gravity, which achieves 400 kW fast charging, seamless Tesla Supercharger integration, as much as 225kW at relatively low 400V...

The rep at my studio (Scottsdale, AZ) said last November that test drives would be scheduled for people who placed orders before anyone else.
