    Gravity Bugs / Issues

@borski, yes, I see now see the names are different. My bad. I grew up in Ohio, and had my doors freeze shut (and open) a number of times. I carried around a butane torch (from Radio Shack, as I recall) to thaw out the latch, which would fix the frozen open problem, at least. Basically, the...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

💩. Really sorry that happened. I hope you get the car back unscathed. Can you clarify "doors won't open?" Did they unlock and then not physically open or could you not unlock them at all? I've seen reports of the handles not coming out when they are iced up. FYI, you can also turn on the...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Yeah, I have finally given in and set the button to Homelink. It does work well, but I would much prefer to set this to change the drive mode to make it easier to switch to "Swift." Sigh

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

In my experience, it has been the easiest and quickest car to learn Homelink connections that I have ever had. I programmed 4 different connections, all without any issues or extra steps. Then Service had my car for 3 weeks () and they replaced the UCC (central computer), forcing me to do...

    Software 3.3.20 Update

My car is still in service for a camera issue (none of them work), but nevertheless the update showed up on my app this morning. With all my Teslas, when they were in service, I was blocked from seeing any info about my car in the app and I certainly could not execute any remote commands. Does...

    Range on Gravity

I saw this video. Important caveat: the Gravity loses track of the actual pack voltage when doing repeated DC fast charging, say on a road trip. This happens because there is never an extended time where there is no load on the battery (charging or discharging) which is necessary to detect the...

    Range on Gravity

Just completed a 1500 mi road trip from AZ to northern CA and back. Highway speed limits 70-75, typical speeds a bit above the speed limit. 2.60 mi/kwh, a bit lower than my expectations of 2.80. The Air hit an efficiency wall around 70 mph, and the Gravity seems to as well, but paying an even...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I flash my light at other Lucids. I get a flash in return about 50% of the time, but as they are going the other way, they need to be really quick!

I still can't see the manual, and it was delivered 11/3. 🤨

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

4 minutes longer on the spec sheet - more if you arrive at the charger at a higher SOC. But agree - not a huge deal. I'd be more concerned about the range, but this could be unique to my location in AZ and the relative dearth of DCFC stations on freeways between AZ and any adjacent states...

major software failures on GGT (description & remedy)

After about 800 miles of "virtually" flawless performance (by this I mean all the usual spurious error messages and other minor software gremlins) I experienced a series of major failures today on my GGT. I believe it started when I pressed the drive recorder button on the clear cockpit...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

The Touring has fewer modules (16 vs 22), thus the max voltage is 670 vs 900, meaning it will charge slower. The larger pack will stay in the sweet spot longer too, so it's definitely the pack to have for range and miles per minute of charging. I too was surprised to see that the only difference...

What am I missing about AutoPark?

DD2 Pro is designed to identify areas delineated by lines only. I have not been able to get this to work, however.

It can only be used when the third row is either not present or down. If you look at the sides in the rear you can see the rectangular mounting holes for it just behind the second row.

    NACS Megathread

Every CPO (charge point operator) technically requires you to use the "manufacturer-supplied adapter." What this means in practice is unclear, but you'd probably find out at the worst possible time.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I think I've had perhaps 1 instance of the key fob not waking the car up. The fob needs an occasional shake, but otherwise it is working well. I haven't even had to do the battery removal/reinsertion trick (apart from the aforementioned incident).

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

I felt the same way before picking up my Gravity last week. But it's been fine. Just about all of the features work without any issues, but there are software gremlins for sure. Mostly, they have workarounds, such as power cycling the AC or the ambient lighting. Some things are weird, like easy...

    Range on Gravity

On all these range figures, note that the manual says you will not get optimal range until you have 2,000 miles on your vehicle.

    Wheel & Tire insurance

I just bought tire (not wheel) insurance from Discount Tire for my Michelin 21/22 setup. It cost about $440 for all 4. There was a bit of a problem in that the 22" tires are not yet available to them, but they made a note in the record as they expect them to be available eventually.
