Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

It won't have all the features. Only the ones that were promised. Another good option, IMO, is to refund the price of DDPro back to the customers.

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

My experience is mostly (95%) positive, but I also didn't buy DDPro. But if they don't do a major update to the Air in the next two years, or release another (hopefully smaller) sedan, I am going to look elsewhere once my lease ends.

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

It is ALWAYS a bad idea to piss of your current customers in order to eventually, hopefully get new ones. The potential new ones are not stupid and can see how the existing ones are being treated.

Air + DreamDrive Pro: Were We Left Behind?

As an investor, do you want the company to keep customers by delivering what they promised?

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

From what I've seen in this thread, it seems that Lucid's message is "we'll do what Tesla will do". That's not a very smart, or innovative message. It doesn't demonstrate why customers or investors should choose Lucid instead of Tesla.

Guess the name of this project or the name of the future car...

Lucid Coal might be popular with the current administration.

    3.0 on Air

    No it's not!

    3.0 on Air

Why are you putting words in my mouth? Where did I say "update the software with every new feature"? The claim was that the Air is perfect and no ANY updates are needed anymore. Why are you guys so defensive? It's a car. You are not even making it. You just one few of them. It's really...

    3.0 on Air

Again, let's Lucid not update the Air software and we'll how it sells in few years. I surely won't buy one when my lease is up, and since I am not interested in a bigger car, that means I will be done with Lucid. But I am sure you guys will keep the company floating. P.S. I am not getting a...

    3.0 on Air

We'll see if that's enough. :) A MacBook Pro from 2021 is still an excellent laptop, but good luck selling it today with the macOS from 2021.

    3.0 on Air

Again, is Lucid Air discontinued? If not, how are you going to continue selling it if you don't have the latest features?

    3.0 on Air

If you let the software to rot, you are not going to sell neither used nor new Airs.

    3.0 on Air

Maybe because you still want to keep selling the Air? Is it discontinued?

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

The Lucid Air significantly decreased my trip time compared to my Tesla Model 3 LR. Due both to faster charging times and larger battery capacity.

    Apple Watch app working great

If you have a guest network setup on your WiFi router, you can check if your car will work better with it. I can't connect to my car if it is connected to my main WiFi, but with the guest it works fine. No idea why.

2026 Lucid Air Touring - 3 month review

This is a charging graph I have from December, produced by TeslaLogger with my 2025 Lucid Air Touring. As you can see, the power is much higher than 100 kW for most of the time from < 50 miles to about 300. IIRC, it was an ElectrifyAmerica station. I have more like this.

What are some software things you LIKE about the car?

I like that too, with an asterisk. Showing "Add New Homelink" while approaching the driveway is plain dumb. You can't add a link while driving. Also, make the link to open/close the garage a big fat button. It is very unlikely there are multiple homelink entries that are associated with that...

US carmakers should be terrified, including Lucid

Without getting too political either, the US was so successful after WW2 because instead of picking winners and losers, was HEAVILY investing in science and research and letting the outcomes of that research "pick" the winners and losers. Of course, that's all in the past now, because some...
