Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

That's clear even if you don't say it. :)

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Was his experience representative when he posted his first (glowing) review of the Air?

I'm wondering if anybody is still working there?

Give them two months... :) I requested annual service about two months ago and got a call back on Wednesday.

Engineering Explained joining the Lucid Lemon Club

Why should he care if it is damaging to the brand? Is is true? It is. Then he can talk about it. I personally know people that were considering buying an Air because of his first review of the car.

Can we have some fun? Post your favorite bugs and glitches...

Two windows showing on top of each other on the screen. Doesn't happen often, but always fun when it does.

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

That's definitely not true for the Tesla.

Car locked with child inside and would not unlock

Yeah, the car locking your kid in is just a small inconvenience. Think of the stock price people, stop talking about locking kids in!

    The Long Goodbye

If there is any sanity in the leadership team, they won't make the same mistake as with Gravity and create yet another software platform.

    The Long Goodbye

That conversation is great news. But it shouldn't have come to a post like this for Lucid's customers to learn a bit more about the reasons they see these issues and what is being done to address them. Lucid needs to be more open, frankly their reputation is so low, that any information would...

    The Long Goodbye

I haven't used the app to manually unlock the car, but I occasionally use the Apple Watch app and it works, eventually. I try to unlock at least 20 seconds before I reach the car and most of the time it works fine.

Tracking Down the Mystery of Air/Gravity Locking/Unlocking

I am not sure if detailed logging would be enough. But they should definitely assign a team of engineers and if needed fly them, and the necessary equipment to get to the bottom of this. Unless they know the problem what the problem is, but don't care enough or it's too expensive to fix.

    The Long Goodbye

Before buying the Lucid, I haven't thought even for a microsecond that my car might not unlock one day, in the middle of nowhere. Now every time I go on a long trip, I am thinking what my plan would be if that happens. Has it happen to me? No. Can it happen? Apparently it can and has to many...

    The Long Goodbye

It seems that a lot of people don't understand that even if 5% of the Lucid owners have issues with the keyfob, that means that it is buggy and that's unacceptable. This has been discussed ad nauseum, but they still try to flood any complains with "but mine works!" posts. I doubt that most new...

Lucid Q1 Financials and Forward Looking

My mistake, you said 135K. So, why the big inventory?

If not an Air, which EV would you buy?

BMW i3 when it comes out and if it is as good as it seems. Lucid is too big for me, and I hate SUVs.

Lucid Q1 Financials and Forward Looking

Why do they have such a big inventory? I thought people were waiting for them to make 200K cars, no? At least, that's what you were saying few days ago.

Lucid Q1 Financials and Forward Looking

And by past leadership you mean the guy that is going back to his COO job, right?
