    [RESOLVED] LEAVE-REGEN-ALONE

You can always use one of the lower settings, if you like it that way. I like it high, and I DEFINITELY don't like it changed by an update.

The Air, the Gravity . . . and what comes next

I was shocked when Lucid made the same mistake with Gravity that they did with Air and delivered (a different code base) of faulty software. Unfortunately I don't think they'll deliver a better one for their next vehicle. As delivering the best driving dynamics is in their DNA, so is...

When the battery is charged to 100%, why doesn't miles remaining give the full EPA range?

Since it is an approximation, how can you depend on what you see? If I wonder if I can get to a place, I always plug the address in one of the apps that can calculate the mileage much more precisely than the EPA value. I have no idea why that guy started talking about doing math in your head. I...

When the battery is charged to 100%, why doesn't miles remaining give the full EPA range?

I don't see how doing math in your head is relevant. The miles that the car shows are not the miles you can travel. You surely need to be able to do some math in your head to estimate how far you can go from the EPA miles you are shown.

When the battery is charged to 100%, why doesn't miles remaining give the full EPA range?

I don't understand why people use the "miles remaining" configuration when it is nowhere close to reality anyway. Just switch to percents and stop worrying about that nonsense.

Looking for advice for first road trip

ABRP predicted the battery level very well when I took a trip in the summer. The prediction was within few percent of the real battery levels, and I am sure I probably drove faster than the 10% above the speed limit that I entered in ABRP. I am taking another trip around Christmas and I am...

ADIOS LUCID: I really hate to make this post but after only two months of ownership, my '23 Lucid AT is gone.

I have been thinking for quite a long time that Lucid's software engineers probably don't drive Lucid cars. There are so many small annoyances that they would've surely fixed if they used the screens. For example, when I press the icon for "maps", it shows me the map app, then it always goes...

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

I asked a specific question and Rogue started explaining to like an idiot. I am setting his expectations he knows how to respond to my question.

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

I know very well what models are. I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science. I also have some knowledge of AI models, specifically LLMs. I was asking specifically what are these "catch-all solutions models" you were referring to.

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

Just curious... What models are you talking about?

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

It looks that you are right, just putting a Jetson Thor and starting off with Nvidia's standard software will not give them much. I thought it's a closer collaboration.

Lucid Intends to Deliver First Level 4 Autonomous EVs for Consumers with NVIDIA

Unlike Lucid, Nvidia knows how to write software, so it might be closer than that.

    Lucid Air 2.8.9

You can always switch it off if you don't like it. I like strong(er) regen.

    Issues With New Car

Past experience can't predict the future. You are basically speculating. That's not a guarantee. Even Lucid's CEO can't guarantee what you are "guaranteeing".

    Issues With New Car

How can you guarantee that specifically?

    Issues With New Car

So, Lucid didn't study the mistakes Tesla made and chose to repeat them? Doesn't look very smart, does it?

Error codes galore during long road trip

I had an intermittent issue with the right blinker few days ago. It resolved itself without any help from me.

    Software Version 2.8.7

I know very well how it is. What a user can reboot is what is (almost) definitely rebooted during a firmware update.

    Software Version 2.8.7

My car doesn't have DD Pro. I don't have any issues with 2.8.7.

    Software Version 2.8.7

I am almost absolutely positive that you can't do an update without rebooting the system. It is definitely much simpler than an update that DOESN'T reboot. So the additional reboot is just a placebo.
