    Cosmos Prototyping and Production

KSA is likely in no rush to get their cars. It will also take some time for Nuro to fit its hardware onto Cosmos. Consider they started working on the Gravity in July 2025 and they likely won't have any meaningful deliveries until the end of this year, at the earliest. I can't imagine they'll be...

    Cosmos Prototyping and Production

Your bullets are generally correct based on the latest communications from Lucid, except they haven't provided detail on when US deliveries will commence. They've only vaguely said the US was a "priority". Lucid also seemed to confirm Cosmos will be revealed this summer. See the end of C&D...

Yes, they will ramp in KSA then start manufacturing at AMP 1. Will probably be a 6-12 month gap.

    Thoughts About Negative Posts

Yeah I don't mind negative posts, but it's annoying when the same folks bring negativity to every thread, whether or not it's even related to the topic at hand.

I think at this point we can acknowledge that Gravity sales are weak. I'd say a lot of that is attributable to the Gravity's botched launch, but it really doesn't matter at this point. Assuming demand is weak, it was a good idea to cut the 2nd shift from AMP 1, even if that means they are...

States at the wheel: A state policy scorecard on electric vehicle readiness

0 means your state probably doesn't allow direct sales. Seems like government oversight to me....

I was referring to the unnamed car coming after Earth.

And yet, Lucid is building a boxy car as their third midsize. There is clearly demand for all these styles.

I really hope Silvio takes a serious look at their service strategy. That side of the business clearly needs funding to open many more centers. People don't want to take a "risk" with a new car company if they don't think issues that may arise during ownership can be addressed in a timely fashion.

    Will Lucid take Cosmos reservations?

Lucid actually has some good ads, idk why we always give them so much flak. And since I know people are going to ask, here are a few (there are others I think are good as well):

Not to pick on you because a lot of other folks say this as well, but I don't understand why so many people think the EV market is a race to see who is first. In the US, just ~8% of 2025 sales were EVs and people only buy cars every 6-8 years, on average. There is a lot of space for new entrants...

To be fair, he didn't get the chance to work with Silvio, so don't think he was really in a position to comment on the new management team.

He very well could have been burned out. There's a lot more that will have to be done in the next 1-2 years to keep Lucid competitive, and given how much he's worked over the past few years, it wouldn't surprise me if he just decided it wasn't worth the mental/physical toll to keep working like...

Looks to me like these are probably both the Cosmos and Earth front and rear bumpers. You can probably guess which is which.

Right, but he was at Lucid's Investor day and said the following in his article: "As Autoweek first reported, Lucid has registered a new car design with the European Union Intellectual Property Office. The automaker made the filing under the name Atieva Inc., which its older name. The filing...
