It really depends on the signal in your area offered by AT&T, which is the car's internal cellular. Here in San Diego, not so great. So the built-in system has a lot of dropouts. Instead, I use the satellite app through CarPlay, thus using Verizon, and everything works perfectly.

I hope you're right but fear you are incorrect. Lucid has followed the Tesla playbook pretty closely. We were all surprised when they killed off the Model S.

I also have the upgrade, but we should all remember that this is an infotainment upgrade and has absolutely nothing to do with locking and unlocking. Any perception that locking and unlocking are improved or faster is more wishful thinking.

I anticipate it will carry over unchanged. No way will they release 3.0 without being retroactive (at least to the CCC2 cars).

Once the car notifies you it's ready to update, it has already been fully downloaded so Wi-Fi is not necessary. My car has never been connected to Wi-Fi and it downloaded 2.10 with no issue.
