IIRC, the sapphire color on the Air wasn’t simple and required multiple extra coats. So between that and its uniqueness I wouldn’t be surprised by a small upcharge.

This is awesome. Thanks for posting! I would never have considered an Air because of the lack of a hitch, mostly for bikes. This would put it back in the realm of possibility for our family of 4. 400 pounds hitch weight is also way more than the Gravity’s 150 pounds (or whatever it is).

That's true. However, in my case, I have a trade-in worth around $60-65k, so after incentives and taxes and trade-in a Gravity Touring is ~$30-35k, and a GGT is roughly $16k more, so $46-51k. So for those of us in such a situation, it's actually not terribly unlike your example of 30k->40k...
