    NACS Charging at Tesla SCs

That doesn't seem right to me. I've owned supercharged Tesla vehicles I've owned since 2017 and never saw anything that would indicate the app was showing me information on whether the charger was connected to Tesla's network. It normally shows charging information from the vehicle, not...

    NACS Charging at Tesla SCs

That's certainly true, but the message was that the car lost connection to the charger, which is a local, wired connection. There could have been a hiccup in the charger or in the car, and hopefully the connection was simply re-established a few moments later and charging continued. And the...

Out of Spec 3 Row EV race - Lucid Gravity driven by Kyle

How many miles were left in the battery when you arrived? Did you actually need that last charge? And, compared to the Model X Pit Stop like crew, you guys were certainly chill at the charging stops.

And part 2 from the Escalade POV, for those that care (I don't, it's an inefficient beast):

    Frunk not opening correctly

To be clear, this is adjusting the resting height of the frunk hood's front so that the big bracket is positioned better relative to the electronic latches. If there a lateral (horizontal) problem, this won't fix it. If the latch mechanisms aren't unlatching, this won't fix it. If the struts...

    "Lucid Ramping up Deliveries"

Compared to Lucid, which has a negative PE ratio? Investors in TSLA don't care much about car sales anymore. You can buy TWO Model Ys for the price of one Gravity. TSLA'a market cap is $1.4Trillion. That's far too big to manipulate. Mr. Market is forward-looking, at least near-term to...

    Frunk not opening correctly

I can't say for sure, obviously. But, my experience was that from new my frunk behaved exactly like Kyle's review car - it would try to open, then fail and stuff would bend as it tried and gave up. The second try always opened it. I'm sure there are other failure behaviors and/or mechanisms...

    Frunk not opening correctly

To try it yourself, just twist one or both of these a half-turn at a time, counter-clockwise: If you're worried about messing something up, keep a count of how many turns so you can twist them back.

    "Lucid Ramping up Deliveries"

TSLA is up on autonomy/robotaxi expectations. Lucid won't get any of that mojo until the Nvidia system is demoed, maybe not until shipped, in Gravity.

    Frunk not opening correctly

My frunk also did not open on first try - it always needed two tries. Past tense, so read on: Due to a minor snafu on my DA's part, I needed to go back to the delivery/service center. I asked that my frunk problem be addressed while I was there, and waiting if needed. Well, turns out that the...

    "Lucid Ramping up Deliveries"

It's going to be a while before Lucid stock takes off, and that's just from the realities of the auto business. There's a massive capital investment needed, both for design as well as for the assembly line. Getting suppliers on-board is hard, as your initial volumes are low, there are questions...

Out of Spec 3 Row EV race - Lucid Gravity driven by Kyle

Thanks. I'll take them at their word, especially since replicating it would mean performing +10MPH continuous driving with back-to-back-to-back 350kW+ charge stops in warm/hot weather. 😉 Interesting, and a bit scary, to see more than one hardware issues related to charging on YT so far. We...

Out of Spec 3 Row EV race - Lucid Gravity driven by Kyle

It may have been the car, but I suspect it was the higher charge rates that mattered towards the end. @Cyp , what do you think?

Winteroff and Huang interview with Kim Java

TBF, Nvidia is selling the guts of an L2++ system. It's up to some integrator/OEM to setup the hardware and bulid all the other stuff around it. Mercedes claims they'll have it in production by end of this year (2026) - as does Lucid. So, I guess the race is on? 🤪

Winteroff and Huang interview with Kim Java

I just watched it, and there's no interview with Jensen, just a couple very short snippets of other people's videos. But, it was worthwhile watching the CEO/CTO of Lucid.

    Engineering Explained - Lucid Responded

With Mercedes no longer shipping their previous system with L3 approved capabilities, I wonder what's happening with those expensive vehicles? Will the previous system continue to function? It requires mapped highways, so is anyone going to be keeping those maps and the software using them...
