Anyone with Power or Tech Package look into Mini-Fridges?

Currently looking at the Dometic CXF5. Seems more in line with having a Lucid than the cheaping sub $300 models on Amazon.

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

Fob update stopped at 99%. Eventually I gave up, restarted the app and when it connected again (took a couple of tries) it said my fob was up to date. And seems to work. Car software still on 3.3.22

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

They actually called me, and I got a mobile service appointment in just under 2 weeks time. So, that's actually pretty good.

    No more Model S/X production

Not a surprise at all - Musk said they were still building the vehicles "for sentimental reasons" on an ER call back in 2019, and last June/July Tesla stopped selling the vehicles in Europe. When you look at the paltry changes to Model X on this last "refresh," it sure seems half-hearted...

    Gravity software updates

Yeah, I'm getting the car is always offline when it's not connected to my home's WiFi now....

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Today, the front passenger's door handle stopped presenting itself when the car is unlocked, either from the fob or app or from inside the car. Pressing on the handle with the car unlocked locks the car, and pressing on the handle with the car locked and key fob in my pocket unlocks the car, but...

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

Unfortunately, I suspect that solution isn't simple. FSD is an E2E AI codebase where a differentiating factor is the "weights," not code. There just aren't places to insert "if-the-else" logic - they'd have to restructure the transformers and then re-train, and keep both those moving forward...

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

I still can't find a single lawsuit, much less an article citing any lawsuits. I even entered your AI text from above and didn't get a single suitable link. Just some on the removal of radar and USS, not on actual software features removed. I'm not saying you're wrong - just that the data isn't...

    Purluxe Premium vs Leather

As I said: If you want to "care less about what other passengers" think and feel, fine. If wear long sleeves all the time, fine. If you're not sensitive enough on your arms for it to matter, fine. But, if you have to change your otherwise normal driving position because Lucid put uncomfortable...

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

Yes, they did! FSD never phantom braked for the month/several hundred miles we had it.

    Ten Gravity Compromises

Forgetting about software bugs for a minute (Yeah, it's hard to do, I know), here are the compromises we've had to live with now owning a Gravity for 5 weeks and 1800 miles: 1) Wide "A" pillar creates front blind spots on turns. Taking narrow, curvy mountain roads every day I drive makes me...

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

I remember the story of The Boy Who Cried Wolf. He eventually did see the wolf, but people didn't believe him by then. Elon is that boy here.

Grand Touring without Dynamic Handling Package

Coming from two Model X LRs, I can state unequivocally that the Gravity with DHP is a far better suspension in many ways: 1) Turning radius. Gravity has a long wheelbase - 119.5 inches (it's partly how they free up so much interior space), so the turning radius and this report says the turning...

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

So, no actual lawsuits, just people claiming/complaining? I looked but couldn't find any lawsuits. I do remember the speed limit thing, but I think that was some safety nanny complaining and forcing Tesla to be "safer," and hard to sue over. But, if things like auto lane change went away - and...

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

If they actually removed features from your car that previously worked, that sounds like a good law suit. The question that's still unclear at this point is whether Tesla is removing AutoSteer from cars that have it today, or only removing it as a standard feature in newly sold vehicles.

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

Yeah, it's not like the chase car is there for safety reasons. 🤪 Oh, and maybe skip the personal attacks in your next response.

    toll tags/rfid on the Gravity

Did my first ride through a toll situation since mounting the Fastrak yesterday. Just checked the Fastrak web site, and it registered just fine.

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

Reports were that Waymo had done the same thing with chase cars back in the early Phoenix days. It's progress. Slow and steady, with a concern for safety. And probably more importantly, Tesla can use these driverless/monitorless rides as data to present to regulators for approval.

Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

Ex-14-year Tesla owner here: FSD is now pretty great.

    toll tags/rfid on the Gravity

Can they detect people sleeping horizontally on a rear bench seat? Gravity has a big skylight, but other cars have no skylight plus tinted windows and shades.
