Lucid Gravity next improvements wish list

How about REALLY fixing Live View? Updated iOS app as well this morning, and still Live View failed 4 out of 5 times. Car connected at home via WiFi, car locks/unlocks via the app. But Live View fails and fails, then works, then fails and then fails. Also saw a message that Live View won't work...

Anyone with Power or Tech Package look into Mini-Fridges?

Got my Dometic CFX5 25L today. It's kind of a beast, built like a tank. Turned it on on my workbench, and it's pretty quiet, but not silent. Got to the 38º level pretty quick. I'll test with my fridge thermo tomorrow.

Lucid Gravity next improvements wish list

Still can't select "Parking" nor "Dash Camera" for the Left Pilot Panel custom button. They're un-selectable (low-lit). And, there should be lots more options for all 3 buttons and the options shouldn't vary by button. And would be nice to have a "long press" and/or double-click option for an...

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

Nothing for me. Tried to spend some time watching Emad Dlala on "Batteries Included Podcast." I say "tried," because he had to drop off completely. Looks like the VP of Technology and Digital needs to upgrade his home WiFi.

Yes, and @Cyp has a short video on what else you do from that wiper button:

Lucid Gravity next improvements wish list

Does 3.4.1 do scheduled charging properly? I just had 3.3.22 again start charging in the afternoon instead of waiting for 12:01am as programmed, and as confirmed when I plug in or check the app later.

    CarPlay in Gravity

Is that in the pop-up that also has the green phone icon? I'll have to look for it next time.

    Lucid Gravity 3.4.0 software update

A few weeks? Do they have some intern who clicks a button and waits the download to complete, then clicks the button for the next vehicle? We ain't talking that many Gravitys - but if we are, why isn't the stock up?

    Gravity Nav HERE map routing

You could have just set your threshold to 5 minutes for re-routing, like my wife did. I personally chose 2 minutes as that was aggressive, but didn't do silly things.

    CarPlay in Gravity

So, am I the only one missing the Messages app from CarPlay? In Gravity, whenever I get a text message, a phone screen pops up. My first thought is always that I'm getting a call, but no, it's Lucid thinking I want to call the person/company that just texted me. But, why would I do that when I...

    CarPlay in Gravity

A number of companies use Apple Maps with EV routing: Porsche, for instance: https://www.porsche.com/usa/legal/apple-maps-ev-routing Ford also: https://www.ford.com/support/how-tos/electric-vehicles/other-electric-vehicle-information/what-is-the-electric-vehicle-ev-routing-feature-in-apple-maps/...

Gravity Software Past, Present, and Future Interview w/ Emad Dlala

At this point, I'm trying to factor in @borski 's statement that Air used to use hypervisors, then changed because it was "a bad idea in Air for many reasons," and so removed it (which seems difficult), only to put in back into Gravity and have the VP claim it was part of the ongoing software...

    Gravity Nav HERE map routing

Some data points: https://www.tomsguide.com/face-off/google-maps-vs-waze I know there are a few different traffic information providers, so which navigation service is best in Gravity/Air may be dependent on which provider Lucid selected for HERE to use. And then, different traffic information...

Gravity Software Past, Present, and Future Interview w/ Emad Dlala

Emad Dlala: "We use for both Air and Gravity a QNX-based system for the safety for the critical, and Android. But the difference in Gravity is that right now they are implemented in one chip, where we have to use hypervisors to allow for the isolation of the systems, which is somewhat of a new...

Left it overnight, and this morning I did have a connection, but no OTA update. Yet.

Gravity Software Past, Present, and Future Interview w/ Emad Dlala

I have not turned off WiFi, but I did park the car for several hours away from any WiFi. When I turn WiFi off at home, the app says “Vehicle Offline”

Gravity Software Past, Present, and Future Interview w/ Emad Dlala

But they didn't and don't use a hypervisor in Air - Air, as he said, has two separate compute units so there's no need. It's only in Gravity with the one Qualcomm chip that they're using a hypervisor to have both QNX for safety critical systems and Android for what I assume in infortainment/UI...
