    Nuro Gravity testing begins

My understanding is that Nuro is built on Nvidia's Alpamayo stack, which, thanks to Mercedes leading the way, should give them a leg up. As for miles of data, my personal belief is that's less important with today's technology. Even Tesla uses only curated real miles of data, plus a LOT of...

    Lucid new CEO: Silvio Napoli

Good point on software being crucial, and elevators not being a hotbed of development. Rawlinson himself didn't "get" software, which put us where we still are today, IMO. That sadi, I think the Market reaction is not from the CEO being appointed, but from the dilution of shareholders inherent...

    Amazon frunk seat

How do they feel while sitting, particularly under the knee where the cushion runs out and you're hanging over the frunk sill? And, the Lucid seat not only drapes over that, but down the front bumper so if the car is dirty, you don't get dirty. But, for $84 vs $500 it's probably a decent option...

Mirror rear cameras in the rain

I finally got the opportunity to drive in the rain with 3.5.1. What I noticed is what I believe is a hardware issue: rain sticks to the camera in the corner of the mirror housing and obscures the rear view, which you can see with the turn signals. Anyone else see this? I'm wondering if some...

Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

Sigh. How about the physical symptoms of the seats not working properly?

Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

    What are the symptoms?

Q1 deliveries much worse than expected

As an owner of a Dec 2025 build Gravity, who doesn't often switch between second row seats up and down, what should I be looking for to identify if my car has this issue?

Explain Halo Secure (Gravity 3.5.1), esp DashCam, to me

If that were true then my recordings would be longer than a minute, and 3 out of 4 are just about 1 minute.

Explain Halo Secure (Gravity 3.5.1), esp DashCam, to me

So, just got back from a road trip, but I guess I don't know how the DashCam feature works. Apparently, hitting the round circle record icon on the Clearview Cockpit display starts recording then, continuing for a minute. It doesn't include any footage from BEFORE you hit the button. Is this...

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Because it'll take them 6 months to implement and another 9 months to debug and some potential customers don't want to wait and will choose another vehicle instead?

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

So, did anyone here actually get 3.5 installed before they pulled the release? Just curious.

Why Donut labs solid state battery could be real

BTW in that video they compare the charge curve to the Gravity, since Gravity has the best charging curve.

Kyle shares more about Lucid Cosmos

I believe the Mercedes CLA will beat Cosmos to the punch, but actual achievement will depend on subsequent software. Luckily for Lucid, Mercedes hasn't shown greatness in software, either.

New software update for Gravity - 3.5

Having to pull a software release after shipping it to some owners is bad enough, but watching some of the investor day presentation for which this release was purportedly timed, it puts what was said there in some better context. For instances, this from the deck: And this from the...

State of Charge with Director of Cost Engineering Corey Steuben

Yes, but he kept referencing the investor day deck/presentation. Does anyone have a link to that? I'd rather not spend 3 hours on the whole presentation recording.

State of Charge with Director of Cost Engineering Corey Steuben

Watching this now. My concern after all the press stuff has been that I didn't see how Lucid was reducing BOM costs and getting even to positive gross margins. Hopefully, Corey can convince me.

Tow Hitch - any reason not to leave it on full time?

Tesla recommends taking the hitch thingie off when not being used. I forget why, but the reasons listed above are probably it. If I were in a place that salted roads in winter, I'd probably take it off, but here in California I plan to just keep it on like I did for my Model Xs, which didn't...

    Lucid Investor Day - March 12, 2026

The SAE has published a summary chart: https://brx-content.fullsight.org/site/binaries/content/assets/sae-org/content/news/blog/sae-j3016-visual-chart_5.3.21.pdf Note that one thing missing from the chart and many summaries is that the "drive everywhere in all conditions" phrase is actually...

    Newbie charging question(s)

Gen-3s (current) should be compatible - there are even versions of those with the built-in CCS adapter option. Gen-1 and Gen-2s dialed to 48 amps or lower should be compatible. Setting the "do not touch" dip switch on Gen-2s to the other setting doesn't seem to harm anything for Gravity and...

    Purluxe Premium vs Leather

@Saksak complained about lumbar support. Tesla seat bottom softness depends on model and year. I don't disagree that Lucid's bottoms are firm, but that doesn't make them uncomfortable, at least for my wife and me.
