    Lucid Connected Home Charging System Installation tips!

    I have carefully read this thread (with lots of useful information). Does anyone have a recommendation for a qualified electrician who has previously installed an LCHCS in Orange County, California? Also, thanks for the warnings about using compression lugs and copper wire and not using a GFCI...

    Tesla discontinues lane centering from Autopilot: TechCrunch

    TechCrunch and others posted articles on Tesla's discontinuance of lane centering from basic, included Autopilot. As someone who has advocated adding lane centering to DreamDrive or DreamDrive premium, this lessens the pressure on Lucid to do so. However, it would still be smart for Lucid to add...

    Insanely good efficiency. Why?

    I've been getting really good efficiency in the past couple of months. Obviously, it's no longer summer and we almost never heat in the SoCal winter. I've been gettng 4.1-4.5 between charges (Trip A). So, it's really good, but not sooo crazy. What's crazy is that the efficiency is consistently...

    Insanely good efficiency. Why?

    Yeah, I assume there's a rounding issue in the calculation. Just took a screenshot, but both Trip A and Since Last Charge kws could be rounded, so Since Last Charge may equal 21.426 kwhs and Trip A may equal 20.6 (or thereabouts). Then the numbers work, even though they both display 21 kwhs...

    Insanely good efficiency. Why?

    "Since last charge" includes power loss during the charging process.Trip A starts when you unplug and start your trip.

    Insanely good efficiency. Why?

    Ok, so it was under ideal conditions. No wind, 60-70 degree weather. Good traffic patterns, but no long stretches at 25-55. OC to LAX roundtrip, so 90% freeway traffic. 2023 Air Touring, 19 wheels. 69mph setting in ADAS. Light use of AC, but two suitcases and two passengers on the way back...

    For Trade Would like to swap 40amp mobile charger v1 for a 40amp mobile charger v2 (compatible with RangeXChange)

    Hi. I already picked up the RangeXChange charging adapter, but have yet to pick up a compatible v2 mobile charger (V2V capable). If someone has it, but has no use for V2V, I propose to swap charging adapters and pay $150 to you as compensation for the added value. I'm in SoCal (OC) and ideally...

    Interim CEO claims L2++ EoY and L4 by 2029

    I purchased EAP in 2016 on a Model X. I remember traveling in the right lane at 70mph on I-5 when EAP couldn't recognize that I wanted to continue straight and veered suddenly toward an exit. Since then, it has only occasionally tried to kill me, including once after 8+ years of software...

    Air Conditioner noise

    Correction. I was assuming HVAC was the issue, but I replicated the noise during charging and during battery preconditioning.

    Air Conditioner noise

    I've had this issue parking in my garage several times after a charging session. Likewise, just recently, I accidentally left the A/C on while charging and got the same noise. Sent videos to Customer Care and an appointment was scheduled with the local SC. They found no issue with the HVAC. I...

    One Year of Ownership Today - some thoughts particularly if you are thinking about getting a Lucid.

    Close to three years in (2023 AT) and my experience is the same as OP, including all the good stuff and the holiday wish for Lane Centering with DD Premium. Drove to and from LAX today in the pouring rain and the car performed flawlessly, from windshield wipers to defrost to ADAS.

    Forum Recommendations for the Company’s Forward Strategy

    It goes back to the differentiators that the Lucid Air had back in 2021-23: Range, efficiency, and charging Interior space vs. exterior envelope Driving characteristics (handling, smoothness, acceleration, etc...) I would leave off the list characteristics in which they are clearly not in the...

    2.8.17 update

    I thought I was hallucinating (and may still be), but I'm seeing 4.0+ miles/kwh on a '23 AT. It's my wife's daily driver and she cares nothing about efficiency, but I do. The area I live in has a lot of 0-50+mph main thoroughfares, which is the enemy of efficiency. I'm on 2.8.17, but I had...

    EA Megathread

    My EA experience over the past year has vastly improved. I attribute it to a variety of reasons: 1. Fewer current auto manufacturers offer EA credits, much less the 3 years that Lucid did. 2. Many stations in my area are capped at 85%, meaning shorter average charging sessions. 3. Tesla opening...

    DDPremium->DDPro Upgrade Path

    I have a 2023 AT. On the Lucid Motors website, login in (top right on a desktop browser) and then you'll see "upgrades" in the list of items on the right side of the screen. Pretty much the same in a mobile browser, but you just scroll down until you see upgrades in the list after manuals...

    DDPremium->DDPro Upgrade Path

    I just checked and you're right. I have DD Premium and the upgrade amount went from $12,000 (!) to $6750.

    Ad-supported music service?

    I'm really confused. 'm pressing the mic button and saying "Play ..." It doesn't default into Spotify, does it? And I've got the ad-free plan for Spotify and have never heard an ad before when I go into Spotify from the Music menu.

    Do all 2022 Air GTs truly have DD Pro and SS Pro?

    So the answers you got are confusing. The AGTs and ATs produced in 2022 and 2023 have the hardware for DD Pro and SS Pro. I have a 2023 AT and it had a six-month trial of DDPro and SSPro. With the features then available (only lane centering, 360 view, and blind spot monitoring separated DDPro...
