360 View Camera/Sensors Suite: Blind Spot Cameras + Blind Spot Monitoring, Front + Back Cameras, Who Needs Mirrors Anymore?

I purchased the DD Premium package partially because my wife really likes the blind-spot cameras, but I still turn my head when changing lanes and the first thing I'll see is the blind spot indicator - the yellow light - in the side mirror, which I rely on more than the blind spot camera.

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

Oops. The service center just texted that had fixed the easy entry issue without mention of any software update. Never mind.

    OTA 2.1.2 / 2.1.3

My AT is in the shop for the grayed-out easy entry and user profile settings. Sounds like I may be in for a wait both for a software update and then recalibration of seat and mirror settings. At least I got an AGT loaner, so I’m not complaining.

    DD Versions, Trial, and Upgrades

My trial expired yesterday. My wife was out driving when the features went dark. So I paid up right away, saw the notice about "up to 72 hours," but the features went back up before she even got home. Your mileage may vary.

    DD Versions, Trial, and Upgrades

I meant which sensors and cameras are available under which DD versions. To accomplish the blind spot monitoring on the display, I assume there are two additional side cameras that have to be active. Which cameras/sensors are active for the surround view? I'm (gently) suggesting that lane...

    DD Versions, Trial, and Upgrades

There's no clarity on what base DreamDrive actually includes, eg. which sensors and cameras are active. My conversation yesterday with my SA's manager indicates that only two cameras are part of base DreamDrive, front and rear. What other sensors are used? Obviously, LIDAR is not, but is there a...

    DD Versions, Trial, and Upgrades

Their announcement of DreamDrive ADAS clearly spelled out that Highway Assist was part of the package: DreamDrive™ system offers more than 30 driver-assistance features, including collision avoidance, Traffic Jam assist, and Highway Assist System designed for ease-of-use with vibrant graphic...

    DD Versions, Trial, and Upgrades

Just got my email stating that my trial period with DDPro and SSPro are ending. They sent this chart to describe the differences between DD, DD Premium and DD Pro. However, you can check earlier threads in which DDPro was to have Highway Pilot and regular DD was to include HA. Now, they seem to...

    Another front license plate question

I convinced the Costa Mesa SC to put on the front wrap, but in attempting it, they tore it. They say that Lucid is working on finding a third party for PPF and other with like license plate wraps, but nothing is in hand now. They're paying to replace my license plate wrap and contacting the...

    Annual Service

I brought my car in for a due bill item last week and another Lucid owner who was well under the 12,000 mile mark was asked whether he needed to bring the car in for annual service. He was told he could split the difference - not wait another year, but perhaps four or five additional months...

    DD Versions, Trial, and Upgrades

My SA suggested twice that Lucid was having discussions about having a middle offer between DDPro and regular DD, such as packaging blind spot monitoring and surround view..My Tesla has EAP on AutoPilot 2.0 and I was offered an upgrade to FSD for $2000 at one point and didn't take it. I'm not...

    Another front license plate question

Actually, I have my first appointment at Costa Mesa on Wednesday, so I'll bring the wrap and politely beg them. If I had read this earlier: I might have just gotten the front plates. I'll send a pic once it's on. Thanks for the help.

    Another front license plate question

I just received my front license plate wrap in the mail. I tried rtff, but couldn't find a single image that would help me with precise placement of the license plate. I'm thinking it should be centered vertically on the front white panel (eg. neither at the top nor at the bottom) and centered...

Unsteady charge rate - known problem? Car or charger or both?

Installed the 2.066 update and had to charge anyway. I had both a very good and somewhat bad experience. The good: I started at 184kw on a 150kw charger. The bad: A bit past 40 percent, I started fluctuating wildly between 48-57kw. Also, for the first time, I had to login using the app. Called...

    Post Realistic Mileage Here….

After my first 1000 miles, my lifetime mi/kw is 3.9. SoCal climate, no winter temps, some hills coming back from the beach cities or dIrving to Temecula. The 19” tires help.

    Key Fob Lanyard

That’s brilliant. I’m embarrassed to say that I used tape to make the lanyard thread rigid so I could push it a little more than halfway through. A paper clip allowed me to pull it through the rest of the way. Successful - but stupid.

    Sunglasses

We just did a minor test drive with two different pairs of sunglasses after clearing the DMS error and setting up a second profile with sunglasses. We reproduced the problem with the first pair and had no issue with the second pair. I think you’re onto something, though, about the angle of...

    Sunglasses

My wife was getting the alert every minute while wearing sunglasses. So I tried the “sunglasses on” message, but kept getting an error trying to set it up, because it couldn’t detect her eyes. So, Lucid Customer Care just said, “The vehicle will not be able to detect the driver’s eyes with...
