    QUESTION Prospective buyer questions

I agree with @borski. I'm in Arizona, so I have both ceramic tint and the sunshades. The sun visors are indeed very small so we asked the tint shop to put on a visor strip and that really helps. No squeals so far from the 2nd or 3rd row since December delivery. The only unanticipated problem was...

    Spare tire

FYI. The same EZSpare wheel can be used in both the Air and the Gravity. You just need to get the appropriate tire from EZSpare. I had bought one way back for my Air and EZSpare sold me a new tire to use for the Gravity.

SUPPORTING MEMBER... yea you.... listen up!

Well, it's interesting how things have changed with time. Back at the beginning of this forum, recognizing there was no ad and hence no revenue, those who wanted to contribute to the operating cost just quietly signed up. And once again, we all owe a debt of gratitude to Joe, the selfless mods...

    Emad Dlala out

Thinking about the whole thread, my simple but cynical mind wants to construct a 2x2 table. He was forced out vs. a true desire to devote more time to his family. Lucid flourishes vs. tanking. Worst case scenario is he was forced out and the company going south. No amount of ruminating here...

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Fob bug re-appeared today. Shaking didn't do it, but power down did. Has been a long time since the last time car didn't recognize the fob. Fresh battery a month ago and current software version.

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

Just came back from a long drive. Seemed to me the luminous intensity of the headlights was lower than before the update. Anyone with same observation?

Lucid Gravity UX 3.6 is here!

My slot came up in the regular queue this afternoon. Uneventful installation in 2.5 hours or so, Haven't driven it yet, but did do a hard reset and put in the password, which was needed for only 1 profile. Fobs seemed to respond faster and from longer distance.

Help the techs.... Please post your knowledge-My RO Posted

Oh, I know this place. It doesn't have the surgical precision and efficiency of a German operation, but it has the ambience of a friendly, informal neighborhood shop. Cars are in service mode until owners pick up, and in the course of bantering with customers, going over what's been done...

Help the techs.... Please post your knowledge-My RO Posted

I don't think this is a big deal or that onerous. All it takes is a few keystrokes for the SA to take the service mode status off. Service mode is just a way to prevent owners from inadvertently messing up the car while they're working on it.

    New Bugs Since 3.5.1

Have no idea what's the cause of what I described below: Car entering parking garage. Put it into Park. Rolled window down and opened driver's door to get the ticket. Closed the door. Put the car into Drive and negotiated a sharp 90 degrees left. Car suddenly changed to wife's profile and moved...

    Recent Trip Efficiency

One more data point driving from Southern Cal to Phoenix., Gravity Dream, mid-sized wheels, 4 passengers and full cargo, driving 75 to 80 mph: efficiency 2.54. No problem charging with Tesla SC.

    Great info. Thanks very much.

    CCS1 Adapter

There's no place for that pin to go in my charge port, though. It would hit the plastic casing and prevent the adapter to go any further. Is my charge port missing something? Thanks.

    CCS1 Adapter

The CCS1 to NACS adapter has a long pin on the NCAS side. Do I cut it off before using? Putting this side by side with the J1772 adapter, looks like it will not insert into the port as deeply as the J1772 with the pin on.

    The Long Goodbye

Completely agree. For the early couple of years, the tendency was to cut some slack for Lucid because it's a brand new company. Complaining too much risks being labeled a whiner or being entitled. As an aside, my Gravity has a drive system warning and has been at SC for 1 month, untouched. Have...

    Home Charging Cable Retractor?

Has anyone come across or installed a reliable charging cable retractor? Currently, I just wrap the cord around the station, which works fine but kind of messy.

Is it safe to do update when car is stored?

That's new. Maybe that's Lucid way of forcing the updates on laggards.

Is it safe to do update when car is stored?

Typically, the car won't update on its own. You have to click on the Install command for the process to start. I'd wait until you come back, just in case something goes wrong. My Air was bricked once during an update and was towed to SC.
