The suspension clunk is not always suspension, here's what they fixed on mine.

So interestingly yesterday I started noticing an intermittent clunking noise from what sounded like the front of my car. It always comes from when one of the front wheels goes over a road imperfection, but it doesn’t always happen. The weird thing to me is sometimes the clunk happens when the...

    THIS is DECISION TIME

I am not sure if this is stating the obvious, but when you lease a car you can buy the lease out at any time. If you aren't sure which one you want to do, leasing seems the safer choice. If you change your mind later you can then buy out the lease. If you buy the car you can't change your mind...

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

I am enjoying the write ups. For me it is interesting to hear different perspectives, even if they aren't always positive or if they don't match my perspective.

Winter Tires suggested for the 19" wheels?

On previous cars I've owned I had good experience and was always happy with Pirelli Sottozero witner tires. They aren't really made for extreme weather (feet of snow or ice) but they handle cold weather temperatures very well and are solid, if not exemplary, in snow. In other words I never got...

SOLD Bridgestone Blizzak Winter Tires and Wheels

Ok, sounds fine to me. Do you mind if I ask what town in NJ you are located? Trying to think about how long of a drive it would be. I am prety far south (Vineland FWIW). I may be able to come get them this weekend.

SOLD Bridgestone Blizzak Winter Tires and Wheels

When you run them without the TPMS, does it just give you an error message on the screen? Do you know if they would all fit within an Air (with the back seat folded down presumably)? I ask because I live in (southern) NJ and could pick them up...if I could fit them in my car.

Final bill from Lucid financial Services (Lease end)

Wow, charging for no cable on a lease return...??? SO if I don't give them back the cable I bought for the $650 credit that I used to buy it, they charge me for it as if it is still new? And what would they do if I never bought the cable to begin with? Yikes. Definitely worried how things are...

I'm going broke waiting on my charger from Lucid

If I were you i'd just get the adapter for the Tesla charger at home and when you get the Tesla charger just keep it in the car. Since you mentioned $650 I am assuming you are referring to the mobile charger. If comes in a case that fit exactly into that triangle type space on the edge of your...

    About to be an owner

I really like the Fathom Blue color. I got grey since it was the closest to what i wanted and in stock, but if I was building to order I would definitely go with fathom blue.

Hagerty race: Dream goes 10.5 at 139mph

Well count me as someone who thought for sure the Rivian was going to win. With the Saphire, Lucid already showed us how more motors can be more important than pure HP when it comes to acceleration. That seems to hold true off the line (and explains why the Rivian took off so much better) but it...

CarPlay Ultra, the next generation of CarPlay, begins rolling out today

I suspect carmakers are seeing the value of people's data more and more and therefore want to make sure they can monetize that value and not someone else.

    OTA Update 2.7.0

MY car has the update available, but I am going to wait until the weekend to futz with it. I don't use android but I do occasionally get the issue where I have to wait to go into drive (but usually only like ~30 seconds or so).

    New Lucid Air Delivered Today

On my prior cars I had a separate set of wheels/tires for winter. I spent a couple years/winters in Montreal, which quickly taught me the value of dedicated winter tires. I haven't purchased them yet, but I plan to get a set of the lucid 19 inch wheels with winter tires. I could probably get by...

    New Lucid Air Delivered Today

So just an update, I did finally receive my license plate and registration yesterday, so that was nice. I saw that the package with the plates and registration came from Colorado, which may explain why it takes so long. They would have had to register the car in NJ, NJ would have to send the...

[RESOLVED BY OTA 2.7.0] Car won’t go into DRIVE !

This sounds almost exactly like my experience. Have never been stranded or anything, usually it just takes an extra ~30 seconds for everything to be ready. Its so intermittent though that I have never noticed a specific pattern.

Starting to regret getting this car...

FWIW I have the same issue. Its because the holes in the mats are a little bit too big, so they don't really "attach" to the posts in the floor so much as just lay over them. It's not like they are sliding all over the places, but they do move a bit over time. I probably fix mine about once...

    Smooth process…so far

Honestly for me the whole buying process felt chaotic. I've bought plenty of new cars, but always from dealers. I bought a car once from a dealer in (or just outside) Philly while I was living in Toronto, but it was still from a specific dealer. Buying from Lucid and doing almost everything...
