USB Media connection no longer working after media-computer upgrade

Called Service and they considered it and said they'd get back to me at some point. I usually get some feedback within a few weeks but sometimes I have to call back. It could be that the cable is just not seated fully, but I'm cautious to pull on side panel clips to get at it near the glovebox...

USB Media connection no longer working after media-computer upgrade

Anyone know if there's access I can get to it? I think it's under the passenger carpet. I'd hate to have them drive out from Denver.

USB Media connection no longer working after media-computer upgrade

Got the 2.0 Media computer upgrade a few months ago. Thought I'd throw in my Lucid-Air-approved USB media stick I'd always use into the slot and nothing happened. Selecting USB under Media asks to insert one. Then I noticed USB connection (Bluetooth off) of my Google Pixel phone to either USB...

    Android auto stopped working

When the car or phone get a software update, they both usually need to be unpaired and removed, then re-added as Media Bluetooth options because it seems to lose the address. I'm using a Pixel 9 Pro XL and there was an Android Update "Baklava" 16 and would not handshake Media Audio via Bluetooth...

Bluetooth stays connected after leaving the car

I usually turn off Bluetooth on the phone upon exiting as a habit, however it pops back on as the car forces a handshake if you use the Mobile Key option AND Media with Bluetooth. I removed the Bluetooth Mobile Key option as it's super annoying having the car doors open while I'm walking around...

Another simple subwoofer install with pics

I never have had an issue with the clips. I drive "spiritedly" and drift.

    ECU Upgrade Question

The upgrade has bootup "wake-up" about twice as fast as before, as well as soft-resets. Some touch-screen functions are notably quicker. Nothing is extremely improved that I can notice. Audio is still dead if you leave it plugged-in overnight. Hands-free driving still wants to occasionally kill you.

Auto Heated Seats & Steering Wheel?

Yes. I have it set in the options to come on but... Heated seats don't automatically come on unless the interior is about 32 deg. F. When the interior warms up to about 60 deg. F., it auto-turns-off. Heated steering wheel is still seemingly never auto. Not sure if the 3 "robustness" software...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

I switched to HD Radio (left the car) plugged it in to charge, which finished, and next morning, no audio. In any radio-mode this happens. Tidal subscription, Bluetooth Audio, Sirius XM, or FM/HDFM radio. Plugged in and sleeps overnight? No audio next morning. In every instance, parking...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

Figured it out (sort of). Native Sirius XM will force a no-audio situation if the car goes to sleep after being plugged-in after finishing charging and going into deep-sleep. Not plugged in just sitting? Audio start-up no problem. Needs-charging and plugged-in? No audio requiring soft-reset...

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

Hm. I'll try choosing an FM HD channel and see if it makes a difference. It almost always happens after plugged-in deep-sleep and no other time.

Lucid Air's Number One Software Issue?

Still get the no-audio issue after an overnight charge, requiring a soft-reset every morning, even after an entertainment computer upgrade and 2.8.4 I've tried "waking up the car" using the App instead, and several other attempted "tricks" but to no avail. Every morning, soft-reset. Parking lot...

    Weird sound loss

Still happens after 2.84 update. I usually perform the X-Mic-Brake or Air-Logo reset. Usually happens after being charged overnight in a garage, but never when just sitting for 8+ hours in a parking lot. A few months ago, someone had mentioned Lucid was aware of this issue, but after 2...

    Air 2.8.4 software update

Aw, shucks. Nope. Deep-sleep Mode had the audio completely OFF again and required a soft-reset. I had accomplished a soft-reset after the Robustness Update 2.8.4 de Luxe. There was a rumor Lucid is aware of the No Audio "featurette" of deep-sleep, usually after charging. It's all the time...

    Air 2.8.4 software update

At first, I was only experiencing non-robustness, but obviously robustness has been applied. Deep sleep ingress had the audio un-muted for the first time in months, requiring no soft-reset. I wonder if the kamikaze-off-ramp hands-free driving death-pact (lover's leap) feature has been...

Attempted Hands-Free with the new computer install

I remember an older Cadillac I had with SuperCruise hands-free maps had a map gap on I-25 where there was no road-coverage and it would disengage SuperCruise for the 5 miles or so, but it would warn about 3 or 4 minutes out from that on the screen, and buzz your seat, etc. If you ignored all of...

Attempted Hands-Free with the new computer install

Yes. Initially, I attempted to "suggest" to the car to not go into the descending off-ramp as a slow nudge which showed significant resistance before applying light braking which disengaged the system. When I used to take my supercharged C6 Corvette to track days, or when I'd drift my Lotus...

Attempted Hands-Free with the new computer install

Entering hands free driving was smooth and seamless. Using the turn-signal to switch lanes was very well done. Problem was there was an off-ramp and at 80 mph it decided to go that way, downhill, and I had to urge it back, "No no nooooooo!" fighting the steering wheel until it released so I...

    Weird sound loss

I can give it a go, sure. I often do the Air Logo soft-reset. This fixes it. The new computer upgrade makes this process only about a minute or so versus 3 minutes. I think the X-Mic-Brake is the same function and the Air-Logo reset, however, meant for if your Pilot Panel is non-functional...
