I think it existed on the air and could be fixed with tcu unplug (I never experienced it in my previous air). I'm experiencing on gravity- I assume that's what others are experiencing too? Or has it been seen with gravity prior to carplay\AA? My previous thread didn't get much direction and...

Also with AA not just carplay, so it's either the car or the commonality of the carplay/AA interface

Looks like there's 5 or 6 people with this issue on this chain. I wonder what the threshold is to fix? Like how many ordinary customers equals 1 Kyle?

Glad you got the call through. I don't even bother with customer service anymore, and the local service center doesn't pick up when I have the problem so I'm glad you got someone to actually see it on their end.

Have you held xmicbrake beyond the guest chime to the second chime? (I didn't actually know if this does anything but it has seemed to help in a few situations)

Where is @ec256 to teach everyone about patience?

Will it not reset with xmicbrake? Given it was last week I'm assuming it went through a sleep cycle? You can use the method above to have AA use phone for navigation but it won't fix native unfortunately.

Dont have time for service and swfeedback does nothing. I'll submit but they never acknowledge.

It's not the lane departure alert. This is while using ddppro. If you watch his video you'll see what I mean at 38:35

Did this today and navigation was fine. Hopefully don't see any stuck gps in the future. Another workaround where I may never learn if the problem is actually fixed or if it's a sign of a deeper issue...lol!

Experienced the Kyle OOS death rattle (at least that's what I've heard some call it) while using ddppro handsfree on my gravity gt. Happened twice on the turnpike and felt like a rumble strip. Adjusting steering got rid of it. Hope it's not a sign?!

I tried this... Let's see if it works Steps to Block Car GPS via Android Auto PermissionsOpen the Settings app on your Android phone.Tap on Apps or Apps & notifications.Find and select Android Auto from the app list.Tap on Permissions, then select Location.Change the setting to Don't allow or...

How do you configure Android auto to not use car gps

Not normal. This is a known issue to gravity owner (just not a known issue to lucid... Hopefully they are seeing this thread as I thought I was alone @marqie )

When lucid has checked my tcu status remotely they see no issues- they claim they would see a reason to reset tcu. Unfortunately I've never caught service in the middle of an event. I'm trying to see where to decouple AA nav from car navigation.

Glad to se that I am not alone in this bug. When you do a reboot try holding past the first chime, there will be a second. Allegedly this is a deeper reboot and has on occasion fixed my GPS.

Given how quickly lucid responded with an update after Kyle complaints, makes me hopeful that other influencers like java will hopefully splur updates.
