For those of you who find Sam to be...unpleasant, the forum has a great feature that I just discovered! Since he's unlikely to follow through on his threat to "stop posting", this will have to do :)

I was being polite. Like I was legitimately starting to feel bad for you and was starting to think that sometimes you get unnecessary criticism. But now, thanks to this post, I won't be. No one is patronizing you. I'm not sure you know what "patronizing" someone looks like. For some reason...

Also, I'm really confused; I tried to be polite last time and you ignored my previous post: https://lucidowners.com/threads/ota-1-2-11.2371/post-58213 You seem to really be disliking your car. This isn't even a "go away and stop bothering the forum" type post. I need to reiterate, if you truly...

Hmm...is this you? Did something suddenly change...?

Update, delivery scheduled for Friday, 9/23. :) So that makes my timeline: Reserved: April 13, 2022 Ordered: June 7, 2022 VIN Assigned: September 12, 2022 Delivery: September 23, 2022 Hang in there, everyone!

If you're in the Bay Area, CEFCU was still doing 3.14% for 66 months.

This is excellent. I do this drive often, good to know it copes with the Grapevine well. I wonder how much you end up regenerating on the downhill parts, there are some downhill sections of the grapevine that are no joke.

That's interesting to know. As far as I know, you're not supposed to be able to get the discount directly from the dealer until 2024: https://www.edmunds.com/fuel-economy/the-ins-and-outs-of-electric-vehicle-tax-credits.html: Do you have any links to someone who did get the credit directly...

It's a tax credit, not a discount code. Lucid would not be including that in their purchase price or purchase contract. https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions-for-individuals

Check the order tracker for your color. You'll see what the time frames tend to be.

I'm so goddamn sick of people saying stupid things like "CA says no more gas cars but then says not to charge EVs haha", they never freaking said not to charge your cars at all. They literally said to charge your EVs before 4pm and after 9pm, so that the electricity demand for A/C can be met...

I received my "apply for loan" email on Sept 6th, and got my VIN on Sept 12th (just six days later). Delivery of the car itself is 2-4 weeks out from now. If you're not planning on doing any kind of financing, whether through Lucid or your own bank, you don't need to do anything. But you are...

@mnewber1 Received my VIN today. For everyone else, I ordered June 7th and got my VIN today, Sept 12th. DA suggests that I could be as little as 2 weeks away from taking delivery.

That's awful :( Do you have email exchange screenshots you can show us? Maybe we can tweet at Rawlinson/Lucid to raise awareness for this issue, it's totally unacceptable.

I'm sympathetic to you. I can imagine that it's frustrating. It's a car. It either does what you want it to, or it doesn't. In your case, it looks like it's leaning towards "doesn't". I mean this constructively, why do you still have it? Clearly it's a source of unhappiness for you, and it...

We...are very different people. Glad you like it though!

I hope they're also placing an emphasis on general performance as well! Swiping/scrolling speed/animation, particularly.

Uhh.... My 2012 Toyota Venza does this. My 2005 Lexus LS430 also did this. This isn't a bug and is intentional.

I don't think I understand what you're trying to say. Do you...not like the way your Air handles or...?

Take a look at https://lucidowners.com/threads/19-vs-21-tires-ride-quality-range-difference.1164/post-36771, where someone not only took off the aero covers, but got a custom end-cap and black lug-nut covers. They look phenomenal, I have zero regrets at all about going 19" and fully intend to do...
