RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

I had to disable the feature because it activated every 3 or 4 seconds continuously. Service informed me that it is a known issue and to disable it. I would assume a fix is coming because why have a feature that does not work. Like FSD on the Tesla???

RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

I agree it is a personal preference, but then again, I have an Android phone too.

RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

Thanks DeaneG....now all I need is it relocated so it can see me when steering wheel in my driving position. Of course, I still want AA and Dashcam/Sentry Mode, auto speed control when speed limit sign changes, etc, etc, etc. Christmas is coming, right????

RESOLVED Dumb question about the driver facing camera

I have .47 OTA and have really enjoyed my GT for almost a year now. I believe everything is operational to date but when I saw the photo of location of driver facing camera, I was surprised to see lights. I have never seen any lights and, if my steering wheel is set in my favorite driving...

    RESOLVED Android Auto Thursday

I just ordered a new EZGo golf cart and it comes with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. I guess Textron has more clout than Lucid. I was totally surprised but the newer golf carts have lots of features now. I only wish it could hit my 60 degree wedge for me!!!!

    Software update 2.1.20

Oh Deane....going over to the dark side. OK, the iPhone is a great phone but my Galaxy S23 is pretty cool also...just does not open the Lucid as fast as my spouse's iPhone. Of course, her primary driver is a Tesla so there you have the paradox.

    GT under $100k

There are two Lucid Air GT vehicles being advertised in Tucson for less than $100k. One has less than 3k miles and the other has around 7800 I believe. Hard to believe someone dumping a great car so cheap. Thought about asking if they would be willing to take my spouse's Tesla in trade and...

    Software update 2.1.20

Had same issue while charging in Marana, AZ this summer. It was 114 degrees at the charging station. Camera corrected itself after charging and driving a few miles. I would assume this will not be an issue while driving otherwise it will be a major issue in AZ or other hot areas.

Drive 200+ miles to Chicago for pickup or have car delivered?

Not sure how they do it now, but when my GT was delivered last November, they offered to fly my wife and I to Scottsdale from Tucson to pick it up. I opted for the trailer delivery which was excellent. Could not see flying such a short distance.

    Mobile Maintenance in Tucson

Called to setup 1 yr maintenance in Scottsdale last week and they said they would setup Mobile service for me as they have a mobile tech residing in Tucson now. The mobile tech, Josh, called me that evening and setup an appointment the following Monday. He just left after doing numerous...

Pleasant service review by Out Of Spec Dave

Mobile tech coming next week for my annual, but I was told they do not do the tire rotation with mobile tech.

What to do if you have an accident with your Lucid

Glad to hear USAA is working well for you. I have had them for almost 50 years and no major issues. My annual premiums on Lucid Air GT with 1k deductible is about 1500 every six months. They seem to be pretty familiar with Lucid at this present time.

RESOLVED My service experience in North Carolina

You got to be kidding...for $140k plus vehicle to have entry problems is absurd. I am kinda getting tired of the excuses: new car, new company, new this, new that...hell, key fob batteries lasting less than a month, 2-4 weeks for repairs, etc. Come on...this is way past early adopters bearing...

Tesla FSD status: still utter crap

I have to disagree on this. My FSD is working well, not as well as advertised but decent. Maybe in a few more years , huh???? The autopilot is fantastic.

Who else is pissed off about Lucid's updates?

Hell, I am not pissed and I am still on 2.1.71 but then again, I am leaving next week for the month in Vail/Steamboat Springs. Only golf will take away the agony of waiting for whatever Lucid OTA is sent next. I assume .7 then .10 so I will not be the red-headed stepchild any longer.:D

    2.1.10 OTA Update (7/24/23)

OK...I have been waiting and being nice but I now decided the Lucid software engineers must have fled Tesla along with Peter. I imagine they were assigned to the FSD project. 😊 I am on .71 still with another CS telling me 2.1.3 is on hold and there is no such thing as 2.1.7 or 2.1.10. Waiting...

    2.1.10 OTA Update (7/24/23)

No, I am in Tucson. Makes sense my vehicle would be in the last batch since I am close to Casa Grande and the great Scottsdale Service Center. I would imagine Fremont is the source of all things software anyway. We can only praise this forum and the gurus that keep us anticipating nirvana...
