    Auto Insurance using regen breaking

This! It’s just another mechanism to bolster their data collection capabilities. I’m sure it’s for internal use but more importantly to add value to the their data sales. “'if you're not paying for the product, you are the product!”

    Lease guidance

Please take all this with a grain of salt. How and why people spend their hard earned money is none of my business. If anyone knew what I’ve spent on just one of my many hobbies like wine for instance they’d easily conclude that I’m certifiably. That being said looking at things from a purely...

Is this experience common when attempting to lease or buy?

I’ve done several road trip purchases and all but a couple were fun. You could always get it transported, it’s surprisingly reasonable.

Is this experience common when attempting to lease or buy?

My experience was what I call unique for purchasing a car. Had I not continually followed up over the course of two weeks with “please take my money!” I’m pretty sure nothing would have happened. Not even Ferrari was this disinterested in a sale and they hate their customers.

Thanks for the quick response and helpful info. Answers to your questions below. Using the LCHCS at full 80amp capacity. Approximately 50ft from main service and main electrical panels. Not sure about future chargers. My thought is that if this is needed I could replace the LCHCS with a dual...

Great minds think alike, 997.1 or 997.2 Turbo is on the list for sure. Or I can find a 996 GT2 driver with some miles I might be able to make that work. I drove one many years ago with some basic mods and it was one of the most alive and exciting cars I’ve ever had the pleasure. And that would...

I’m a huge BMW fan and agree manuals will continue to command a premium. Loved my E39 M5, E46 M3 comp with manual and the two E60 M5’s, even liked the SMG in those cars. After having a couple Porsche manuals and cars with Tremec manuals the M3 transmission just wasn’t in the same league...

Anyone able to shed some light on the need for a permit to qualify for the ComEd charger rebate? I know I should get a permit but I live in an area that a. requires a special donation to your alderman reelection campaign or b. wait until I've long since left this earth. Option a is a...

I’ve spent a fair amount of time on some amazing tracks and I'm pretty confident that I’d be faster in the Lucid. The M3 was so easily upset by imperfections especially mid corner that it didn’t inspire confidence. Steering input in the Lucid is miles better. Easier to place and with better...

2024 Air Touring in Cosmos Silver-will post pictures after I get a chance to clean her up. It's only been a week but my experience has been positive. This is replacing a 2021 G80 M3 manual that was my daily. Really impressed with steering precision and suspension tuning. Significantly better...
