    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Mine was delivered yesterday with 3.3.1. Updated it today to .2 when it notified me.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Yes. I noticed. It doesn’t pass through my case. When I took it out of the case and charged it it got pretty warm. I’m likely to design and 3D print my own MagSafe holder/adapter somewhere. Just looking for where I want to put it. I also got a bunch of retractable USB-C cables to put around the...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Took delivery today of a Quantum Grey 7-seater. Most everything is working great except my driver's side mirror will not auto unfold. It folds but won't unfold. I can do it manually but it's a little of an inconvenience. One other funny moment I got into the car and it reclined the seat all the...

Had them in my Model X and Y and they're very good and much cheaper than many other alternatives.

I have a GT with Power Package that I'm picking up on Monday.

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

Then you're fortunate. I've had Teslas since 2014 until now. I have had occasions where the car wouldn't wake when I approached. It didn't happen often but it has happened. Over 11 years of Tesla ownership over 4 cars you'll see a lot of bugs. My Y doesn't really have any issues now but the MCU...

    Gravity Vehicles Available Online

Haha. My Quantum is evidently on the way to my SC for delivery. I like Metallic Gray cars. It’s just my style really.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Ours on our Models 3 and Y are actually pretty good about this. As you can imagine, with me being 6’2” and she being 5’0” it causes a bit of a panic if it tries to set me to her driving position. It happens occasionally but most often it seems to just pick the right profile.

    Software version 3.3.1

I think we've all experienced that right? I've driven away with blank screens and had the car reset while driving down the highway.

    Low Suspension for Entry/Exit

I have a friend who recently bought an R1S. I was asking him about it and he really isn’t fond of it at all. I’ve driven my relative’s R1T and found it fine but I didn’t love it. My understanding is that the R1S actually rides much worse than the R1T because they engineered the T first and just...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Probably for the best. While we assume things are generally minimum spec and above it’s not always the case. I recently discovered that a device I own with a USB-C charge port would only charge on a LESS POWERFUL AC/DC converter than I was using. I assumed that all USB-C devices would gracefully...

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

The FWD had sensors placed under the door skin to detect objects in its path. But when the car sits in the sun too long the door on the side facing the sun gets so hot the sensor malfunctions or gets false positives. You might remember that the FWD would only fail on one side of your car. That...

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

I actually dislike this feature because there are plenty of times I’d rather have my window stay open than auto-close and strangely there have been times where my car hasn’t autoclosed when it was supposed to leaving my driver’s door window halfway down the whole night. A few of my Teslas have...

Gravity Service Appointments and Time In Service

Haha. I spent a good half hour trying to figure out of I could fit a halved sheet of plywood (4x4) into my 6-seater X in some way. I think I eventually got it in there with a lot of moving blankets on the corners but I think it ended up leaving a mark anyway. It is ridiculous how little stuff...

Living with the Lucid Gravity: A Tesla Owner’s Journey

As someone who has owned 4 Teslas I don’t think it’s fair to compare the state of Tesla now to the state of the Gravity as a brand new vehicle platform. Plus, I’ve had plenty of issues with my Teslas over the years but I’ve always found the positives to outweigh the negatives. Falcon Wing Doors...

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

My SA is claiming it’s because of the change in language to the new law that states any order placed before the expiration of the rebate will still be honored. Since the Gravity is still back-ordered and presumably the vast majority of those orders were placed longer than a few weeks ago, those...

Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

If so that’s fine with me. I don’t really use those functions in my Tesla anyway. The only one of those that is remotely useful for me is traffic light recognition. But I’m also someone that is always aware of the traffic light state. I hate it when people are on their phones and don’t move when...

Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

Right. I’ve spoken to my SA. I live near enough to the HQ that I‘ll do my next test drive there with him. He says that the current state of Pro is pretty similar to what Premium will be, at least in regards to the things I’d like to test.

Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

Yes. I posted this in the Gravity section so I assume it's only Dreamdrive 2. I spoke to my SA and he said that Dream Drive Premium on Gravity has Lane Keeping/Assist. The main benefit, as of today, for Pro is the hands-free driving, which I'm not that interested in frankly other than perhaps I...

Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

You don’t think it does Lane Keeping? That seems like a pretty basic feature for a Driver Assist System on a car at this level. The website doesn’t really use the phrase “lane keeping” but the rest of the feature list implies that it stays in its lane and follows the road in DDPremium. I think...
