Can anyone compare DDPremium vs. Tesla Autopilot (not FSD)?

Yes. I think our experiences align well. Dream Drive 2 Premium is vastly superior to Tesla Autopilot. Of the tasks where DD2 Premium and FSD do overlap, I prefer the implementation of DD2 Premium. Of course FSD does MANY more things than that but I've tested those functions in the past in my...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Trust me, I was very surprised to experience the difference. When it comes to something like button presses registering we all assume we’re experiencing the same thing with different expectations. The difference between this loaner and my car is so noticeable that I was somewhat shocked. I...

    Dynamic Efficiency

The loaner I drove home today has bigger wheels than my car and the Dynamic Range reading is drastically different than my 20/21 car. Even at higher speeds I can usually keep the car around 3.0 on mine. This car driven basically the same way on the drive home (could have been elevation or...

Has anyone had this on the Gravity? "Surround View Failed to Load," "Camera Unavailable," "Surround View Cameras Unavailable"?

Yes. Mine had that issue and the cameras never returned for park assist or lane change assist. The cameras themselves worked when I would look at the Live View from my phone app, so the cameras were physically operational. I dropped my car off today for this and a couple other issues.

    Reset Steering Wheel?

Yup. Hold the Brake pedal, the X (Dream Drive disengage) button and the Microphone button down. After the first chime if you let go it will reboot the infotainment system (the screens on the right of the Cockpit and the Lower Screen). If you continue to hold those buttons until you hear two...

Savage Geese Takes a Long Look

Yeah. My 2014 Model S85 also had a rear drive unit replacement. Not the battery though. Even though I did live through many of the software generations of early Teslas like you, I don’t remember them being as buggy on the “working as a car” part of the software. Lucid really needs to get the...

Savage Geese Takes a Long Look

Your eternal optimism about the Gravity is amazing. I've had 5% of the issues you've had with your car(s) and I'm starting to lose my patience. Honestly the fact that they gave me a Gravity as a loaner instead of an Air this time is a huge relief (no offense to you Air drivers). Although the...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

So my car went back into service for the couple gremlins that popped up in the past couple weeks. Interestingly I got a Gravity as a loaner, which I really appreciated. No offense to you Air owners but that form factor is not for me. It's just too low to the ground with too low of a roofline...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Not disagreeing with you at all. Like I’ve said on here before, I tend to do things on a fairly tight schedule just not to be wasteful of space. When I go to get in my car it should be able to start driving within seconds of me buckling my seatbelt. My car is having a weird issue where it often...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I suspect the timing with the brake pedal might be coincidental. Since the update I have seen my do a full wake and then briefly go black screen before booting back up with little to no intervention on my part. The positive I've noticed is that it reboots faster, which shouldn't be something I...

    HomeLink question.

For me right under the left headlight was the exact spot. In fact I had to hold it much closer to the car than I thought I would.

Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

My cameras are dead too. Obviously I parked cars for years without cameras but I do believe that manufacturers are more comfortable making cars with poor rearward visibility because they know they’re going to have backup cameras.

Live View over WiFi seems much faster to react to me.

Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

Haven’t really checked it in earnest since most of the common issues need to be tested over time. It did not fix the other issues that my car has so I’m going to schedule service for it now that the update has happened and my issues persist.

Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

I believe the current speculation is that Lucid was waiting for Apple to their API for using the phone as a key (for cars and homes). Apple evidently has delayed the introduction so it probably messed up Lucid’s timeline. Although that, in no way, absolves them of having reliable technology for...

Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

Yes. That’s my concern too. I’ve only had mine for a month (1 week in service) and it’s annoying. I tend to keep my timing pretty tight on stuff, so when I get into my car I need to start going right then. Having to get out of the car and wander around out of range of the car to hope it comes...

Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

I’m not disagreeing with you at all. But that’s an individual choice. The percentage of drivers who are driving enthusiasts is very low. The performance of a car doesn’t factor into car buying decisions for the vast majority of buyers. It’s not like I’m arguing that Lucid should market the...

Lucid Gravity update 3.3.5 + fob update

That’s a perfectly reasonable approach. It’s annoying and I’m getting annoyed. But when I tell you it’s one of the best-driving cars I’ve ever driven I’m being serious. I’ve owned a few nice cars and sporty cars and crossovers. When Jason Cammisa questions whether or not the Gravity makes the...

    Purluxe Premium vs Leather

Yes. The Air loaner car I had had the same material in a matching color. Also to the question a few posts above the back doors have the same material as the fronts.
