    Gravity 3.5.1

If I'm next to it with the fob in my pocket and I press the handle, it unlocks just fine.

    Gravity 3.5.1

No, it only unlocks by pressing it. If it's popped out and you push it, nothing happens.

    Gravity Delivery Discussion

Yes, they come with both adapters, AC and DC. I also have a J1772 charger at home. It's charging the Gravity perfectly with the adapter that came with the car. It's very small and blends perfectly into the charging cable. The DC (CCS) adapter is bulky and heavy, but it fits perfectly in a side...

    Gravity 3.5.1

I've disabled the proximity auto lock/unlock thing, first because I don't like it and second because it seems like it's quite unreliable. Now there's no way to lock the car without the fob, which is annoying. Yesterday, I pressed the lock button on the fob and... peanuts. There was no way I...

    Gravity Won’t Wake Up

Actually, I'm watching my WiFi router here and the car is happily communicating with Lucid VPN and MQTT endpoints. Yet, my app still says waking up.

Anyone here have a Gravity Touring? (not the GT)

Also keep in mind that the GT longer range doesn't come for free. You're shlepping 500 lbs more weight everywhere you go and that's a lot more work on the tires.

    Gravity Won’t Wake Up

Today, my car finished charging at 12:19am, sent me a notification (so it had connection), then it went in a coma. I couldn't wake it up anymore through the app. It's running 3.5.1.

Anyone here have a Gravity Touring? (not the GT)

I have a Touring. It's already stupid fast. Yes, the GT is fastER, but seriously, what's the point? I got my ex a new Mach-E 3+ years ago. Great car, and it's been super reliable.

    Winter tire set

I appreciate the suggestions. My car is 3-year lease. If I buy a set of 3PMSF 20/21 and just use year round, it will probably be cheaper than just replacing the 22/23 tires before I return the lease. I don't want to necessarily optimize for cost. I love how these 22/23 look. They're so...

    Winter tire set

That's correct. Tire Rack is offering a new set of 21" wheels and tires for $1900. Replacing just the tires on the 22/23 is a lot more than that.

    Winter tire set

I really don't go often to the mountains. Maybe once or twice a winter. I wouldn't keep the winter tires all winter. My rationale is that, if I'm spending the money to have two full sets, I better have a proper winter set, instead of the summer ones plus all season ones. Does that make sense...

    Winter tire set

Thanks. That's an option. Twice the price of Tire Rack though.

    Winter tire set

I bought a Gravity with the 22/23 wheels. They are really gorgeous, but completely inadequate for a winter excursion. No snow here in California sea level, but I'd like to have a winter set to go up the mountains in the winter. Has anybody done that? I wonder if I need anything Lucid special...

Gravity test drive impressions, Millbrae CA showroom

I was considering the Vistiq until I realized the steering wheel does almost 2 full revolutions to each side. That's just pathetic, like driving an old bus. Also, the whole Android Auto / Carplay move by GM is a deal breaker. They want money every month for you to use a shittier version of their...

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

Lucid is in Newark CA, just a few minutes from companies like Meta, Google, etc. Their pay scale for software engineers is a complete joke. They will never attract good software engineers, when people can literally drive 5 minutes and make 5x more elsewhere.

    Gravity Bugs / Issues

I totally get it if the car has bugs on new things, given Lucid is pushing the boundaries. But a key fob not working? That's just ridiculous. The industry has been using proximity key fobs for what, 15+ years now? They just work in other cars. Like always, every, single, day. This feels to me...
