    Gravity Features

I did hear torque vectoring mentioned in the "Proving Grounds: The Alaskan Tundra | The Road to Lucid Gravity" video which is why I raised it - . From what I've read on EVs, "In electric vehicles all-wheel drive is typically implemented with two independent electric motors, one for each axle...

    Gravity Features

What about the features that will set this vehicle apart from all others such as air suspension, all wheel steering, torque vectoring. powertrain. range, etc? I'd like confirmation which of these will be in the Gravity.

    Software update 2.3.0

We had the update installed on Friday and experienced the following. On 2 occasions the car has behaved in an unexpected and concerning way as follows: 1) backing up out of the garage and 2) backing into a driveway the car sensed, incorrectly, an object in the way and instantly applied the...

    Electrify America charging free?

For EA charging t&c select Service Summary, underneath the Charging History option. For instance, I see 3 years free charging w/ service dates.

    Electrify America charging free?

Same here. The majority of the time I don't have to take any action. However, on some occasions I have to authenticate on the Lucid app, not sure why that is.

    Electrify America charging free?

I got 3 years of free charging from EA at time of purchase in J une2023. The purchase docs note free charging but no T&Cs. Here's what the Lucid app shows:

    Electrify America charging free?

I looked at my purchase agreement and other docs for our 2023 Air. They all state "Electrify America Charging Included" but no time frame. I think it's for 3 years. I have not checked the Lucid app if states the length.

I'm scheduled to close on new Touring. but I'm worried

We've had our Air Pure for a year and we're quite happy with the car. One of the best vehicles I've ever driven in. Really no show stopper to speak of other then the initial learning curve of having an EV. The build quality of ours has been very good - fit and finish solid, top notch. OTAs...

I did not even see that, that's odd. Which further raises the question wagon or hatch? You'd think at a minimum there be some partition to prevent items from lurching forward into the cabin.

Houston SC Gravity Photos June 2024

I like the tongue in cheek name - of course you mean the Celestiq which is priced at over 300K and looks unusual to say the least in profile. Is it a sedan, wagon or hatch. Reminds of when the Panamera first came out. It looked like 3 different cars spliced together. It's evolved into a much...

Houston SC Gravity Photos June 2024

I can understand the minivan comparisons having owned 2 of them over the years - but not recently. Lucid is calling it an SUV. I concur with those that state it's lower and sleeker, that was my thoughts when I saw it recently at the Oak Brook, Il studio. The specs compared to the Air are...

    Playlist and USB music.

A simple solution might be using Bluetooth to play the songs from your phone. Of course this means loading the songs to your phone. I've gone this route as opposed to a thumb drive for all the reasons stated by others.

locked in while in the backseat?

I've never been locked in but I do get warnings on the Pilot Panel when charging the car that it will be locking in so many seconds and ask if I'm still in the car. Learn something new every day. Reminds me of an episode on the HBO series 'Silicon Valley' whereby a guy got locked in a 'self...

Can I turn off rear seat belt warning

It's law in IL for rear seat passengers to wear belts. https://www.ilsos.gov/departments/drivers/traffic_safety/safetybelts.html - 'Illinois law requires all drivers and passengers (front and back seat) age 8 and older to wear safety belts ' Let them complain.

    Making native navigation search better!

Only good for CarPlay users for us Android users not so much. I use Alexa in the car which has it's own challenges. I've learned to be as specific as possible when asking for directions. In one instance, I got a local restaurant and one in France by the same name. Can't recall which app I...

Exploring buying a new Lucid Air.

I think you have to look at the bigger picture on the design philosophy of the car compared to other competitors. IMHO Lucid outshines all others with respect to this. Their design and engineering, at the moment, is ahead of all others. I would encourage you to watch these 2 interview/videos...
