Most wall chargers have some kind of intelligence for setting up scheduled charging, or amperage regulation, connect to WiFi and you get status or SOC, etc.. Most of them you can also do from you car app. From a purely pouring voltage out to the car, you're right. no difference really. When...

alright, I'm going to be brave and try this over the weekend, and see if I blow anything up. Going to move Gen2 back to 80amps, use my Teslatap 80A adaptor, then the NACS adaptor from the Teslatap. -iThinkEV-

Crossing fingers for that huge Jul 31st update. -iThinkEV-

All Gravitys/Gravities come with RWS. -iThinkEV-

I'm going to let @borski be the guinea pig on the wrap. then I'll bring mine into OCD. :) If you go with pre-cut templates. You won't get a clean look. You'll see the edge, and also at the edge, dirt will collect and then it becomes a very visible line. the detailer @borski and I use, do...

I noticed the same, but it's not enough to bother me (yet), next OTA update will fix I hope. -iThinkEV-

No doubt the EV Cayenne will a big win on the handling dept. I'm wondering if it's going to $200k before or after options. then $300k for the Turbo GT. -iThinkEV-

Gen2 does J1772 fine. I use a Teslatap and it charges my Taycan for the past 3 years. I'm currently charging my Gravity with said Gen2 wall charger set to 56A. All 4 of my EVs (3 Tesla, 1 Taycan) charges from this Gen2. They all draw 48A, and Gravity draws the full 56A. That's why I'm...

I'll jump in. don't need Legacy mode. Just need to move the amperage down. Something in the 80A charging communication that's the problem. I also use a Teslatap mini 80A for my Taycan, works fine with Gen2 @ 80As. but it never really pull anything more than 11kWs anyway. So no point on the...

If you slide down on the pilot screen. You get a quick access menu to a variety of functions. Including glove box open button. -iThinkEV-

to me, it's a very tall wagon. and I love wagons. If it's not for Porsche coming out with the Taycan Cross Turismo and later the Sport Turismo, I would have owned a RS6 Avant. My 1st wagon love. '02 allroad 2.7t. oh the memories. -iThinkEV-

the sub-trunk cover can be latched in a tilted angle position. There's 2 plastic latches on the side of the trunk. if you lift the trunk cover and continue to move it upward. it'll click into place, and the latch will prevent it from falling. you can access sub-trunk without dealing with the...

Yes, they made a big deal about this in one of the UX3 videos. And even mentioned that DE will have special animations to the home dash screen, and color matching. So I'm sure future OTA updates will take care of this. As for the D Pillar. I read the original order brochure did mentioned...

My detailer using some liquid polymer glue thingie to stick logos back onto the PPF, no 3M tapes, I believe the liquid is also made by 3M, but it's in liquid form. he wiped the back of the logo with 1 chemical, and the area to glue with a different chemical. When they are combined, it creates...

I have gotten the key fob not regcognized issue. Did a 4th weekend roadtrip. Then charged and parked car for 4 days. and this morning, when trying to leave for work. Get the dreaded key fob not found, wake it up, jingle etc. nada. it does lock/unlock and everything else. frunk/trunk, etc...

Same. I brought this up with the SA during delivery. He put a note on his laptop for the techs to check if this is within spec when I do bring it in for service. I also find mid section of the spoiler not aligned with the left/right section, there's a slight dent to the alignment, but the...

Speaking of reinstalls. On the Teslas, there's an option to reinstall the same version of the OS/Firmware by going through the diagnostic/service menu. Is there a secret service menu on Lucids that we can access? And do something similar on our own? -iThinkEV-

I get the same on my last round trip to SoCal. Over 4th weekend. I have a lead foot. 22/23s thought. 2 adults, luggage and about 20 laptops on the way down. 2 adults, luggage and some groceries on the way up. -iThinkEV-

Because they always find you!! Love it. -iThinkEV-

that is an amazing low cost premium. $3500 from CA through GEICO. CA sucks for insurance now. -iThinkEV-
