    Regenerative braking and range

Interesting video clip I saw demonstrating tow charging an EV. Since the Air has better mi/kWh, can it recover more during regen braking?

    New Air GT-P Owner here

Yes … I’m sure that’s why GT-P production ended so fast… to keep the DE’s “special”. Plus Sapphire was right around the corner. But I can’t say for sure it was the strategy to take because even though the DE’s are serial numbered, the GT-P ended up being even more rare than the DE. I guess...

    New Air GT-P Owner here

The OPs YouTube video touched on suspension tweaks and other bits so I was curious. I also wouldn’t be surprised if both the GT-P and the DE both exceeded 1,111 Hp. Anybody have access to a Dyno? ;) I just learned now that the GT-P stickered for more than the DE.

    New Air GT-P Owner here

Congratulations on such a rare find! It was obviously not available on the online configurator. Did it just show up as available to your SA? If so, that was what happened to me last December. My first intent was the Touring, but I upgraded since they stumbled upon a new, non-demonstrator ZR...

    Wheels ordered ...

Yes, you are correct. I had an incident where I blew out a tire hitting a pothole on the 605S which made me think about 20”. In the end, I stayed with 21”. What I discovered is that by going wider, I actually had to go with 35 series tires which means more sidewall height. Switching over to...

    Regenerative braking and range

You can rest assured … I didn’t buy one of these to hypermile. ;)

    Regenerative braking and range

I found that the best way to hyper mile is in max regen and do the best I can to minimize the amount the charge/discharge indicator goes into the discharge range (on the right) and maximize the amount the amount the charge/discharge indicator goes into the charge range (on the left).

    Charging Beyond the Charge Limit

I've never seen my car go over during L1 charging at home. I've never left my car plugged in overnight using L2. I can see it overshooting a little since the car is recalculating SOC and trickle charges as long as cable is connected.

Why speed limit difference Air Grand Touring vs Air Touring?

Vehicle top speed is electronically limited by Lucid for various reasons. Tire speed rating is only one factor.

    NACS Megathread

My take away from yesterday's event was that Peter pointed out that the prototype on display had the two ports. I don't recall him saying was that way in the production Gravity configuration? Maybe someone can review the videos of the first Gravity coming off the line? I concur that he did...
